Azov 7234 Granit 8x8 off-road truck

Kuvaus
A highly capable Soviet style 8x8 off-road truck, for both military and civilian use. It has good off-road performance, with its articulating axle. It can of course carry containers, which are easy to load

Introduction
The Granit was designed and built by the fictional Russian Azov automotive company, from the Mudrunner/Snowrunner universe, which itself is inspired by the Kamaz company. The name "Granit" is Swedish for the granite rock type, as this is supposed to be off-road and therefore climb terrain such as rocks, I picked the name mostly because it sounds cool. And the 7234, well it was just choosen random, since the real designations seems to be almost random.

The Granit is completely fictional, but it takes inspiration from the Azov 5319/Kamaz 6560M and Azov 73210/Kamaz 5340, and many other trucks from the Mudrunner/Snowrunner games, and that's also the feeling it's supposed to give when driving, so turn on some nice music. It is supposed to be a military truck which also serves the role as a civilian truck. In military service it can load containers with specialized cargo, such as missiles, but also radar equipment and other stuff. But it's not suited for super heavy cargo such as ICBMs. But in general it is suited for transporting containers to remote places which might require some off-roading to get to, but of course the truck has its limitation as any truck does, so still stay careful not to get overconfident. The Granit was also made by me as a replacement to my older V-700 Stormrunner. I used lots of XML parts to get all the details as I wanted, maybe too much XML.

Features and stats
It has several unique features, which improves its performance and design. The articulating axle is an example, which splits the front section and the rear & flatbed section, letting them rotate separetally giving it better terrain performance. The flatbed itself is also somewhat unique, with its loading mechanism, that can easily load cargo on its own without external help, while being integrated in the design of the flatbed, unlike the V-700 where it's clearly visible.

It also comes with the ability to change the drive mechanism on the fly. Such as switching from AWD (All Wheel Drive) to RWD (Rear Wheel Drive), but also to use tank steering which allows for turning on the spot, either of these might be that useful but who knows if you need them.

The cabin is also made to be comfortable to sit an view in, feeling pretty big but not gigantic on the inside, but with a low roof, feeling cozy with the green light in the back, especially in the night. It can seat up to 4 people, but also has important equipment as you would expect. Also comes with rotating warning beacon lights, for those moments it might be needed for maintenance or work.

Additional info
It took me way too long to finish this, as I lost a lot of motivation, I also got really tired and finished entire days without doing much progress. So behind the scenes it was a bit more of a bumpy ride than it looks. And as usual, all the microcontrollers are made by me. The truck might also have small cooling issues, but I've never actually made it catch on fire. Also yes if you for some reason wonder, yes the tank steering controller is not 100% finished, but all the features needed for this are, again I rushed making this a bit.

I hope you enjoyed the truck, and that you found good use of it. I hope it suits your needs.
