The new Vanilla HUD is Awesome

Ravenfield EA27 has a new HUD, and I think it's great!

General

I first thought the new HUD might have been a mod I installed (since I do use HUD mods), but after realising it's vanilla, I got excited. I think it looks great and, for me personally, it replaces any HUD mods I previously used.
It's simple enough and like the previous vanilla HUD, it's still compact. I love that it shows any other weapons you have available.

Reloading

When reloading, it'll show a bar that fills, indicating how long the reload takes and how long you still have to wait. Nothing massive, but it's nice for any weapons that might take longer to reload.

Squad information

Probably my favourite feature, it shows your squad's health and currently equipped weapons.
Reminds me of L4D and L4D2's HUD.

It also changes to any weapon a squad member might swap to.

Vehicles

Another bar is added for vehicle health. I've seen done in a bunch of mods. However, showing how many soldiers there are in the vehicle, whether smokescreen is ready and the type of weapon you're using has changed a bit. This seems to be a work in progress and clashes with the older vanilla HUD.

Other details

The little hexagon showing the point is cute and non intrusive. The scratches on the edges of the screen when you're low on health is also a nice touch.

That's all I can say about it. If I could make any changes, I'd make the health bar change colour when playing Raven and make the objective on the top of the screen togglable. But these are just small nitpicks that doesn't change how I feel about the HUD.

You can choose to play Ravenfield's Beta version and get an early look at some of EA27's features. Go to your Library, right click on Ravenfield, go to properties and click on the box next to Beta Participation. Enjoy!

Do keep in mind that it can be buggy and any new content is still a work in progress
