SC 497 - US Subchaser
This is my 1:1 Scale version of the SC 497 which was developed by US Navy from 1941-1944, in total they constructed 438 different SC 497's by the end of their production and only 17 were lost during the war. Submarine chasers of this variety were collectively nicknamed "the splinter fleet" due to being built mainly by wood.



In-game specifics

Top speed - 65 km/h
Total fuel - 7758
Electricity - infinite glitch

Armament:
3 - 20mm Oerlikon
1 - 40mm Bofors
6 - K-guns anti submarine rockets
14 - impact detonated depth charges
Ammo - 160 heavy autocannon
Ammo - 1900 light autocannon

(To use the engines properly, full speed boost, pumps and cruise mode is recommended for best performance, aswell as full throttle and full clutch)
(due to some problems with the infinate generator it for some reasons requires infinate electric to be turned on and then off for it to work properly)

how do I refuel this ship? the back fuel nozzle thing wont work

yeah, i've encountered that issue, i think its just a game issue, i don't think i can fix it in the boat, my best recommendation is just to remove the sonar and have a version saved without the sonar, or something like that

Really good ship and all but for some reason, whenever I click turn on/off the sonar in the radar/sonar room it crashes the game. I don't know how or why it does this but if you could please look into it that would be great.

Starboard engines catch fire at full throttle any idea why?

there should be a key, the recommend settings is full speed boost, pumps and cruise mode for best performance, aswell as full throttle and full clutch
if you have problems with the electric i think you need to turn infinate electric on and off, i dont know why thats a problem but i might try to fix it
