All Family Seats by Emergent

SUMMARY: Choose up to 10 family seats for each nation out of every family type available in the game. There are no longer any penalties from skipping seats.


TAGLINE: Have you ever wondered what it'd be like if you could found more than 3 family seats? Not just being able to found all 4 seats, but going even beyond that. The benefits of additional family seat bonuses might be interesting to play with, and perhaps somewhat balanced by having to manage a greater amount of family relations? Try a new way of playing the game with this mod!


DESIGN PHILOSOPHY: This mod very signficantly departs from the base game philosophy and is undoubtedly unbalanced. There are good fundamentals why the base game doesn't even allow you to found 4 seats, let alone 10. You can consider playing under this mod to be for some wacky experimental fun.


DESIGN NOTES: All 10 family types are available for each nation, and you can found as many family seats (and families) as there are family types (i.e. 10). There are no penalties for skipping family seats, since the penalties would get very severe and the design intent behind this mod is to allow for maximum flexibility to pick the best family for each city site (rather than to force the player to pick all 10 family seats at first). You do, however, still receive 4 legitimacy for each family seat you found, but beware of the growing number of families and need to manage all those relations.


DEVELOPMENT AND TESTING STATUS: Mod has only received small amounts of testing, but should be functional. Stability for mid-game and late-game is uncertain.


COMPATIBILITY: Generally expected to be a stand-alone mod, although it's likely compatible with various other mods that don't modify families. (note that this mod supersedes the All Family Choices mod, since its contents are incorporated therein)
