Overlay Tool

Description
Overlay Tool
Simple tool that allows you to create outer overlays on props, entities and ragdolls.

Overlay options
  • Color
  • Transparency
  • Brightness
  • Size
  • Rotation
  • Ignorez
  • Render FX

For custom decals, look up how to make textures for Source and then just put the path to the texture into said textbox.



Issues
  • Can only save one overlay per prop for dupes and saves
  • Ragdoll overlay has z-fighting (You should still be able to pose it just right to mitigate this)
  • Some materials do not work properly with ignorez enabled

Is it possible to make it so that it can be applied to npcs/nextbots that aren't 2D images?
(I'm perfectly fine if it will only apply to nextbots)

i fixed it with chatgpt and added feature to remove overlays by one

this is so cool, too bad it doesn't work and I have no knowledge of fixing this sort of stuff, rather than making it. either way its super cool! :steamhappy:

Same issue. I dont remember having that bug when i was testing this mod the first time it came out
