Progression Achievements
The following achievements can not be missed and will unlock as you progress through the game:

  • Upon completing all missions in episode one, you will be granted the achievement.

  • Upon completing all missions in episode two, you will be granted the achievement.

  • Upon completing all missions in episode three, you will be granted the achievement.
Gameplay Achievements

  • Beat E1M1 while playing on Havoc difficulty. You can pretty much get away with jumping around to avoid most of the shots. Kills and secret count do not matter for this achievement.

See Gotta Go Fast achievement video.

  • Beat E1M1 in under 30 seconds. Strafe jumping (a common movement technique when speed running where you hold W+D or W+A while looking at an angle when jumping.) timing jumps will help you gain tons of speed. When you get to the hall that has the glass window (near the exit of the level) you can break it with the alternate fire of the Blaster, jump through it and continue to jump your way to the exit. If you are struggling by a few seconds you can use the Runeblade special which does temporarily slow time. Kills and secret count do not matter for this achievement.

  • Kill 12 enemies in under one second with the Runeblade. This is fairly easy to do if you find a group of enemies, Use the Runeblade's special ability and just alternate clicking left and right mouse buttons quickly.

Dev Tip: The sword does way more damage, has a longer range, and can hit more enemies at once when you have less than 20 HP. Also the Runeblade's special ability will slow down time.

  • Finish E1M6: Ghost town, without getting damaged by anything while playing on any difficulty. Any damage fully absorbed by armor doesn't count as damage. Kills and secret count do not matter for this achievement.

  • Fire the Shock Rifle at a dead body to use it as a conductor in order to kill an enemy. The shock rifle will chain its shot with near by enemies, so just shoot at a dead body while an enemy is near by and have it kill the live enemy.

*Note: This can be done anywhere, including in endless mode, as long as you have access to the Shock Rifle.

  • Beat E1M3: Secret Weapon without collecting any weapons. Only use your Runeblade and the Blaster to complete the level. Kills and secret count do not matter for this achievement.

  • Have Akimbo and HAVOC powerups at the same time. This is the easiest to complete in E3M3 In the large room you walk out into after using the red key, walk to the far right side of the room and there you should find 3 power ups. havoc, akimbo, and slow time.

  • Resurrect a Pyro with the Soul Reaper. After you get a Soul Reaper, kill a pyro with any weapon of your choice, then resurrect him with the secondary fire of the Soul Reaper. Reminder this requires 30 energy to do so make sure you have collected enough energy to use the secondary fire.

*Note: This can be done anywhere, including in endless mode, as long as you have access to the Soul Reaper and Pyro's.

Edit: The Pyro's at the end of E3M3 can not be used for this achievement.

  • Control 20 or more zombies at once with the Soul Reaper. Right click with the Soul Reaper to spawn in your own army of skeletons. This I found easy to complete in the Ghost Town level (E1M6) since there is ample amounts of energy ammo in the level.

*Note: This can be done anywhere, including in endless mode, as long as you have access to the Soul Reaper.

  • Burn 6 enemies at once with the Blaster's secondary fire. For this just right click and shoot 6 enemies before they start dying off from being on fire.

*Note: This can be done anywhere, including in endless mode.

  • In the blue key room of E1M5: Halls of Knowledge, kill the Metal Colossus and the Minotaur without opening any of the two doors. This MUST be played on veteran or Havoc difficulty for the achievement to unlock.

  • Kill an enemy by electrifying a pool of water with the Shock Rifle. Do you see someone in a pool of water..? Shoot the Shock Rifle at the water! This can be completed in any level you see water and a Shock Rifle.

*Note: Be sure YOU ARE NOT also in that same pool of water or you will get shocked as well!

  • Beat E3M1: Hide and Seek, Playing on Havoc difficulty. Kills and secret counts do not matter for this achievement.

  • In E3M1: Hide and Seek, kill everyone in the machine room. The machine room is located behind the blue door at the start of the level. This is the room where you will find your red key dropped from the enemy that walks slowly to the left and right seen in front of you. (Can be seen in the picture below standing in the middle of the room at the end of the hallway. He will be the only moving thing in that room until you walk into someone or shoot/ use your runeblade.) Once everyone is aggro run to the exit portal to the far right of the room. There is friendly fire so they will start doing damage to one another. When they get quiet just walk back in the room and repeat, you can get some shots into them as well each time you run in the room.

  • Fire the Shock Rifle and make the lightning bounce out of 12 enemies at once. For this you will have to damage some of the enemies with the Blaster before hitting them with the Shock Rifle. The Shock Rifle only does so much damage before it drops off and stops connecting the shock; therefore, if you damage the enemies a little bit before hand it will allow you to chain more enemies together.

*Note: This can be done anywhere, including in endless mode, as long as you have access to the Shock Rifle.

  • Find the secret menu. When you are in the main menu or in the pause menu, left click the title of the game to unlock the achievement. Do not let the power get to your heads!

  • Convert 20 live enemies at the same time with the special ability of the Soul Reaper. E3M3 I found to be the easiest to get in the "arena" when the flying drones start to come out of their spawn directly opposite of the staircase that is on your right. If you do not damage them first you will need to have enough health refills to get health back up over 20 as this will not convert them in one attack, it will require you to sacrifice your health twice. Anywhere that you can get a bunch of enemies to cluster up is a good place to try.

*Note: This can be done anywhere, including in endless mode, as long as you have access to the Soul Reaper.
Secrets

  • Find the super secret in E1M6. While standing on the sacrificial table use the Runeblade's special ability (middle mouse button). This will lower you into the blood pool and there you can swim down and unlock the super secret.

  • Find the Super Secret in E1M4. Go through the hedge maze and into the teleport portal. After you reappear on the top of the wall outside the maze, strafe jump across to the top of the hedge and walk the left side until you hit the back of the maze.

  • Find a way to enter the blue key room in E2M6: Sealed Secrets. There is a Soul Reaper right on the inside of the pyramid you will pick up. (You will have to play out part of the level to obtain energy ammo so you can use the secondary ability. See video.) After obtaining the Soul Reaper you will come across a door that is locked with no way to open the door. This is located next to the red door. There is one enemy in the locked room behind glass on your left. Use the Soul Reaper to spawn a skeleton to the right of the glass and he will attack the one behind the glass thus allowing you to enter the locked room.

  • Find all secrets in E2M5: Searing Sun. I found this easiest to do by taking a right from the start of the map and following the wall. (see video.)

All achievements listed below you have to play on endless mode and simply survive through 10 waves of enemies in each of the maps listed:
*Note: You must complete wave 10. Dying on wave 10 will not trigger achievements.*

Hello Sleeves! Thank you for your additional information! Unfortunately I can't add it directly to the guide as i've hit that sections character limit.. but if people scroll comments i'm hoping they run into everyone's suggestions for those two achievements. Both achievements can be achieved in almost any level so its nice to hear so many leaving comments on where they got theirs from! :)

The pyro resurrection can be done in E2M6: Sealed Secrets. I only tried on Havoc, not sure if the enemy spawns on lower difficulties. As for the lightning-water achievement, the bridge to nowhere endless arena has a puddle that can be used for it. You just need to survive long enough (or restart enough times) to get the lightning gun from the random weapon box.

Thank you, I'm super happy to hear it was helpful in getting you that 100%!
Super conductor achievement can be done in so many different locations depending on what difficulty you play on. Thanks for the heads up on your find! I'm out of character space to add any more text to that area so hoping people read comments too lol.

Great guide, I would probably give up on getting 100% without this, due to some tricky secrets.
I would just like to point out that E3M3 is a great place to get the "Super Conductor" achievement, when you arrive at the arena after the red gate, there are several weak enemies, got it the first time I tried this.

Hello! I know I'm a bit late to the party, but thanks for the guide!

Well, good job for your first guide.
Ah yeah, they are linked. Guess I missed those, my bad.

Yeah, the game was fun even though I am not the biggest fan of pistol start in every level.

Thank you for checking out the guide im happy to hear it was helpful! This was the first steam guide that I have ever made. The shorter secret videos should be linked in the guide under the 100% ones for each episode. (unless im dumb and linked wrong videos...which is possible lol)
Also thank you for letting me know about the havoc not having the power ups there! I usually only play on vet.. lol

I greatly appreciate all your feedback and I really hope you had a great time playing havoc!

So I finally played the game. Great guide, thanks for that! Also thanks for making those shorter secret videos. You might want to link those in your guide as well?

Two additional notes I have:
-Overwhelming Power: None of the power ups spawn in E3M3 if you play on Havoc difficulty
-Deadly Current: I had kinda trouble getting this, as you need water, the shock rifle and an enemy in the water. I finally got it in E3M2 as in one of the secrets is a small underwater area with multiple drones and skeletons in it and at this point you have the shock rifle.

Hello Psychonator , the weapon is indeed in this level, it is found from using blood sacrifice on the table surrounded by blood. I do the sacrifice here in this video ( https://youtu.be/uVvrxeveNnc?si=52YM938H_-86NsJU&t=174 ), but to get to the weapon you need to follow the table into the blood and there is a pathway there :)
Super secrets are not counted with the secret counter on screen.
