Introduction

Note: There have been look-a-like copycat guides popping up. If it's not labeled by THN (The Horror Network), it's NOT one of mine and therefore not up to the quality that I aim to provide.

Welcome to the Murdered: Soul Suspect achievement guide.

The achievements for this game are fairly straight-forward, and many of them require very little effort to obtain. In fact, the only achievements that will require any effort are the collectibles; most of them can even be found in a causal playthrough.

I've included videos where needed, the person who has uploaded the videos on YouTube has even been so kind as to put a timeline into the video description. Say if you're missing two Eternal Flame collectibles, you can launch the video directly on YouTube and click the corresponding time link for maximum laziness.

For example, if you miss one of the Codex collectibles, you will need to progress to that collectible and nab it; it will count towards your previous tally and you will gain the achievement.

While exploring through the game you will come across various collectibles; Gas Containers, Bone Saws, Guns, etc. You will need to collect a specific allotment of each one in order to obtain their corresponding achievements, as well as obtain all of them in order to get this achievement. Many of these collectibles can be found easily, through natural progression, while some are a little more obscure. Do not leave an area until you've discovered all collectibles, as some are missable. Follow the below video guides in order to save yourself time and effort. As well, investigation clues do not count as collectibles.

Rex's Story
Learned about Rex's Life
This achievement is sectioned into two parts. First, you will need to locate a playground in Salem which will have a Reveal prompt for Rex's story. Then when you are directed to the Police Station, the second Reveal prompt will bein Rex's office; which is located on the second floor.

Baxter's Story
Learned about Baxter's Life
This achievement is sectioned into two parts. The first thing that you will need to do is locate two police officers outside, near the first "Review My Life" story of Ronan holding Julia's body. Possess one of the officers and select the Eavesdrop option. The second part is when you are directed to the Police Station, Baxter will be inside with a detective. To your right, there will be a Reveal prompt, collect it and the achievement is yours.

Ronan's Story

These are Reveal prompts that are located throughout Salem, the Police Station and the Church.

The Bell Killer's Story

There are 39 collectibles in all for this achievement. They will consist of police files, newspapers, poems and more; they will be scattered from the beginning of the game until the end.

Julia's Story

Much like The Bell Killer's Story, this achievement will have you hunting down collectibles from the beginning tot he end of the game. Julia's Story is revealed through her diary pages. Unfortunately, the only dedicated video guide was taken down. There are single collectible Julia's Thoughts guides on YouTube, but for ease sake I will give the link HERE[www.xboxachievements.com] for a complete list of locations.

@Qthulhu You are the one using a guide to complete the game... Aren't you the lazy one?

As long as the video is relevant to the achievement being described and in fact shows how to obtain it, then it is sufficient.

@The Horror Network Great Guide!

I've adjusted many guides thanks to user feedback. You seem to be the only one who is kicking up a hissy fit over me "being too lazy" to make my own videos though? And "being too lazy" to put 256 collectibles in 256 different, separate sections so they appear on the sidebar which would be so incredulously long that you'd have to keep scrollling for ages to get to the 'quick link'? I just don't understand you.

But thanks for letting me know about the one video not working, I'll replace that in my spare time this weekend and probably the rest with Maka's guide. I knew him back in the day when I played my 360 :) I like to support YouTube content creators by linking their videos so they get views, and if people like their collectible guides I know people tend to look up their other work.

So I won't feed the troll anymore here, I'm just gonna flat out block you and delete all of your comments that you post going forward because to be very honest, I'm tired of your shenanigans now.

Imagine using videos of not just one other person, but ten in total (of which one has either deleted their video or made it so you can't embed it anymore, might get on that and take the video of an eleventh) and then having the audacity to complain that others copy "your work".

Also I don't know if you knew, but on the right side of every guide there's an overview where you can just click on what part of the guide you wanna go to, so scrolling isn't even necessary. You're not only lazy, you're also a narcissist who can not take criticism.
The Horror Network  [créateur] 24 aout 2022 à 7h04
Imagine scrolling through a guide that has 256+ images.
Sklorbo: Enormous Luminary 23 aout 2022 à 0h01
It still isn't, images are a thing which you seem to forget. And at the very least you could've used videos you made yourself instead of other people's. You're lazy and write shit guides.
The Horror Network  [créateur] 22 aout 2022 à 17h05
Thank you! I appreciate it.
And yeah I guess they gave up when they realized there are 256 collectibles in this game and writing a "text-based guide" for them was a ridiculous idea.
Sigh 22 aout 2022 à 11h52
Ignore the previous person. Thank you for the guide, you've done a fine job. :)
The Horror Network  [créateur] 29 juin 2022 à 4h22
Have you even played this game? By your comments, it feels incredibly obvious that you haven't. The maps can be rather tricky to traverse in terms of looking for these collectibles, and if memory serves some do not even appear until you get the previous ones.

If you don't like the guide, fine, go look up another text based guide (which "text-based" does not equal including images... that's still media based). Nothing on the Steam Guides designates that the guides have to be in a text only format. I think you're looking for Game FAQs. If you think you can write a better text-only guide, then be my guest. Nothing and no one is stopping you from creating your own and living your dreams, bro.
Sklorbo: Enormous Luminary 29 juin 2022 à 0h02
Yeah definitely not out of laziness. Including images of where collectibles are is just so confusing and absurd and that's the main reason you've done this, not that you didn't wanna put the effort into a guide of such quality you aim to provide . At least own up to it bro.
The Horror Network  [créateur] 28 juin 2022 à 14h33
That's your opinion and you're entitled to it. But when I include video guides, it's because explaining it in text is both confusing and absurd.
