Styles and what they do
Darkslayer: Let's you teleport to enemies and teleport around your environment and gives you access to Spectral Blades.
-(Spiral Swords) Holding the shoot button will activate Spiral Swords damaging nearby enemies and holding the shoot button will stop them and allow you to shoot them out towards your enemies, launching them.
-(Storm Swords) Holding the shoot button and pulling back on the left analog stick will surround your enemy with summon swords and impale them.
-(Blistering Swords) will fire all the swords from Spiral Swords directly at one target.

Taunts
Taunting restores Devil Trigger and increases your style ranking.
(The Taunt that Vergil does is determined by what rank you have, the higher the rank the more stylish the Taunt)
(The voice that Vergil says the Taunt lines in can sound different if in Devil Trigger)
(Vergil's taunt "You Shall Die", will restore Vergil's Devil Trigger all the way if uninterrupted, If done near an enemy)

Devil Trigger
-Slowly Regenerates Health
-Increases natural defense
-Increases damage
-Increases speed
(If Devil Trigger is activated while standing still it will create a shockwave that deals damage)

Useful Tip
I used to think that doing more than one Judgement Cut required precise timing and it did, but I spammed the Judgement Cut button from the beginning and did 3 Perfect Judgement Cuts in a row and then I did it again and it worked, so basically all you have to do is spam the Judgement Cut Button to use Judgement cut to it's fullest extent.
(I think the game may see Judgement Cutx3 as one attack, so putting all your excess Devil Trigger into Judgement Cut might make Judgement Cut one of the most damaging moves in Vergil's arsenal.)

Styles and what they do
Swordmaster: Let's you do at least 3 more attacks with every Devil Arm Dante has.

Gunslinger: Let's you do at least 3 more attacks with every Gun Dante has.
-also if you hold the shoot button it can charge the attacks and do more damage.
-If you walk up to an enemy on the ground and spam the shoot button you'll put your foot on them and start shooting them and then kick them away when you are done.
-if you jump over an enemy while they are downed while shooting you can surf on them and shoot enemies while on them.

Royal Guard: Let's you block enemy attacks storing up anger and then releasing it to do damage.
-You can use it mid-air.
-You can convert anger into health.
-If you release right at the moment of impact you do a lot of damage to the enemy while punching through them.
(you can also store up anger so that when you do it you erase the enemies from existence)
(There is this mechanic where if you hold the Devil Trigger button it takes all the excess DT you have and you can use it to increase the damage of any one attack you choose, it does a lot of damage, so if you were to put all excess DT into the quick Royal Guard Hit while it also has max anger, you'd probably delete boss health bars to almost 0)

Trickster: Let's you dash up to 3 times on the ground and in mid-air. (great for being a wacky wahoo pizza man)

Quicksilver: Let's you slow down time, you have to double tap the swordmaster style to make it change to Quicksilver

Not that I know of, but a good technique for Vergil's judgement cuts in dmc3 is to rapid slash while holding down the judgement cut button and then releasing the 3 cuts. It helps stun the enemy and puts you at a good distance to use them against the enemies.
