Infinite Money and Tickets Exploits

In this guide, I'm going to look at two exploits that give you infinite money and tickets. Both of these have been reported to the developer, so expect them to be patched eventually.

Both exploits work in survival mode and can be replicated at will.

Memory editing via Squalr, Cheat-O-Matic, Cheat Engine etc. is beyond the scope of this guide.

Infinite Tickets (Patched)

Go to the Islandville Mall. On your way there, grab any random item out of the trash. I used an empty cola can, but anything you can pick up, drop, and move around should work.

Go up to the leftmost UFO Catcher, drop the can, then hold the left mouse button and drag it into the machine through the prize slot. Keep dragging it up onto the shelf, and use it to knock the box of tickets onto the bottom of the machine.

After a few seconds, another box of tickets will spawn in each machine. Continue with this until the other machine gets so full the tickets start dropping straight into the bottom of the machine. You can drag the cola can up and over the divider between the two machines to help this along if you like.

I am told that the same trick works with the cow machines, but I've not been able to replicate that, the trash just goes straight through the cows when I try to dislodge them.

It's worth noting that this trick won't work on all machines. Some machines will despawn an object that you insert into them. Other machines have their own internal collision system and won't react to a foreign object. But the UFO Catcher is not one such machine.

Infinite Money

Look at any of the boards around town that show you what items are in demand at Barry's Pawn. Get yourself one of any of them (use the infinite tickets glitch above if you need more tickets). Take it to Barry's Pawn and put it on the conveyor. Note the price is double what it normally would be - but DO NOT press the sell button. Instead, leave the item on the conveyor, and walk out of the building. Turn around and go straight back in, and you'll notice the price of the item has doubled again. Leave again, go back in again, and it doubles again.

I found there was an upper limit of about $70k above which the value went negative. But others find there's no limit, so experiment and see what happens!

When it's worth more than $20k, press the sell button, and wait while Barry pays you out in $100 bills. Collect the money as it comes out - a large backlog of notes can sometimes glitch out of the world (which can be amusing in itself).

You can repeat this if you have more high demand items.

What To Do With Your Money

Go to the supermarket and buy a 6-pack of cola, and 6 boxes of bandages.

Whenever you get low on energy, drink a can of cola.

Whenever you get low on health, drink a box of bandages (look at the animation that plays and tell me the player character isn't drinking them).

You can then do whatever you feel like, resupplying on tickets and money whenever you need to.

Just remember to be home before curfew or your survival run will end in a grounding.

So the money glitch still works after today's patch. While the upper limit on the DISPLAY is 70k the backend value still goes up. I wouldn't recommend doing more than 70k however. Trying to pick up 5.3 million is very tedious until Barry starts handing out bands of 100s.

I think infinite tickets has been patched but infinite money still works, haven't tried recently but there've been no updates so it should still work?

for me the tickets wont respawn after pushing them into the hole and i have to reload the game if i want them back

So quick thing, you say the upper limit is 70k... I'm currently being paid out 6.8 mil for one item XD Not that I'm complaining but it sucks you can't leave while its still spitting out money. I'm going to be here a while.
