Which Community Servers I'd Recommend & Why

Over the course of my time playing CSGO, atleast half of it has been on community servers.
This guide is about servers I'd recommend to play on and why, giving details and information about them.
This guide will no doubt be updated more in the future.

MapCore.org - Playtesting Server (Still Exists, 24-12-15)

Information: A server dedicated to testing out custom maps with 20 player slots. If you join their group http://steamcommunity.com/groups/MapCorePT you can get events to join the server when a map is getting tested along with other players.

Information: A finnish server with focus on sauna styled maps, where mainly the bombsites are themed either towards or are the sauna's themselves. In other words, the terrorists must blow up the sauna's. The maps can either be with swimming pools and the occasional locker rooms in a building, ranging in different sizes and styles. There are sometimes other maps, but mainly you can expect custom maps with a sauna theme. It uses team switch after half of the rounds have been played. There can be at times a limit of allowed bought weapons, I have tried this with atleast the auto sniper.

Information: A swedish slide race server. Slide race focuses on both teams being pushed forward by force and must avoid obstacles and traps throughout the map. Both teams can still attack each other, though only with knives. Server has plenty of custom maps suited for this game mode.

Information: Much the same as Aurinkosauna, only there is no team switch per half match and all weapons are allowed.

Information: American minigame's server with lots of different MG based/themed maps on. For those that don't know what minigames are in CSGO, they mainly focus on maps where you must survive in different ways, either from facing off the opposite team in different manners, to all the players having to jump their way across the map, with various obstacles. Uses an item purchase option with different styled hats and other things to 'customize' your character, which other's can see ingame.

Information: A server with lots of custom maps that are all very entertaining to play on. With atleast 60 custom maps, you'll never find yourself playing the common maps in CSGO on this server. There are a few maps from some of the previous Operations though. Server is in Germany, but the server is stated as European, and from what I've tried I can only recommend it.

Information: An american climbing map server, the goal on these maps, using kz at front, is to climb further into the map, sometimes in interesting or funny ways. The server has an easy options list to save your location, incase you fall, in which you can then teleport back and retry your progress.
The server also has a flashlight plugin.

Information: A french zombie escape server, always seems active, even late at night. For those who don't know what Zombie Escape (ze) is, the main goal in this game mode is for the CT's & T's to escape from zombie players. Usually the maps are long and simple looking, yet have alot of obstacles. If a zombie player hits a CT or T player, they will get turned into a zombie player themselves instantly.
The server has alot of zombie models aswell as some music files playing, so expect a few downloads to happen. There seems to be a board option for players, in which they can place boards around the map to try and block out zombie players. There's also a flashlight plugin and VIP options to support the server.

Information: A russian server with only a Mansion map, an old classic map from cs days. 24/7, with decent activity during the day and abit at night time. Be wary though, each time a new game starts, there will be up to 50 rounds.
