Arabian Archer
Don't buy this archer until you get a good amount of money rolling in. However you don't have to if you don't want to, but here are the pros and cons:
Pros:
Better armored the an English archer.
Does more damage then an English archer.
Cons:
Is shorter ranged then an English archer.
Costs a TON more money then an English archer.
Slaves
Cheap, fast, and can leave enemy economy in shambles, It is hard not to like slaves. Here are the pros and cons:
Pros:
Cheap to recruit.
Nice and fast.
Cons:
Their armor is EXTREMELY weak, so one shot from the weakest archer will kill them.
Horrible units if you use them to attack an enemy unit, even spearmen.
Horse Archers
Horse archer are one of the greatest units in the game if you can afford them and know how to use them. Here are the pros and cons:
Pros:
Extremely fast.
Will shoot while you move them.
Great to pick archers out of towers.
Cons:
Extremely expensive.
Have horrible armor.
Slinger
A good, short ranged cheap unit. Here are pros and cons:
Pros:
Cheap to recruit.
Are very fast.
Will shoot extremely fast.
Cons:
Short ranged.
Are very weak.
Horrible if someone sends archers to pick out your towers.
Arabian Swordsman
No. Just no. Horrible. Just horrible. Here are pros and cons.
Pros:
You can rush them.
Cons:
Very expensive.
Not as good armored as an English swordsman.
Very slow.
Won't do as much damage as an English swordsman.
Just a waste of money.
Horrible damage against walls.
Assassins
A good, sneaky unit. One of my favorites. Here are pros and cons.
Pros:
Invisible to enemy.
Will open your enemies gatehouse.
Will do a descent amount of damage.
The armor is fairly good.
A good buy considering all the stuff they do.
Can sneak up walls.
Great for rushing.
Goes kinda fast.
Cons:
Useless if your enemy has a moat.
Flamethrowers
No, no, no, no, NO. Huge wast of money. Here are pros and cons.
Pros:
There are none.
Cons:
Very expensive.
If you need to light pitch ditch just get an archer and a brazer on the tower.
If you use them to light your enemies building on fire it is an extreme waste of money, just use slaves.
Arabian Fire Ballista
A good, long ranged piece of Siege equipment. Here are pros and cons.
Pros:
Can set enemies buildings on fire.
Very long ranged.
Good for picking out.
Cons:
Very expensive.
Overall
Overall, There are some good, some bad. They can be very fun to use, and devastating to enemy economy. I hope this guide is helpful. If you have anything to say, put it in the comments below. Also like and comment so more people will find this guide! Have fun, and protect yourself from that pig!

I'm not gonna say fire-throwers are the most useful unit, but framing them as useless is frankly just wrong. I've ended a 40-man swordsman rush before they even reached my walls by kiting them with 5 fire-throwers. An archer with a brazier can only ignite enemies standing in pitch-ditches, and the brazier can't move. Fire throwers don't need pitch-ditches (and are just better with them), and they can move freely without losing the ability to ignite enemies. A small group of fire-throwers backing up a slave rush can help them burn buildings while providing an offense against any melee troops that sally out to defend.

They are weak because fire is by far the best way to kill basically anything, and these guys can summon it without restriction. Do not sleep on the fire-thrower, especially early-game.

Flamethrowers are bad ass. Tell them to "attack this area" and they will keep it constantly on fire.

Also good for burning down your allies castles.
