@raptor3671 thanks for the tips and feedback! I fixed the star puzzle so none of the buttons will accidentally open the lid and so it reset the puzzle if you pressed the wrong star.

... continued. For all to know: Using lock mode "continuous" does not take into account the input positions for the lock, like when using mode "inplace", only the order of which you pressed the buttons matter. This way, if you use three repeating numbers as the combination (1,1,1, or 2,2,2), the order of the buttons does not matter. Hope this helps. Feel free to contact me for any additional information :)

Bugfix: on the star-puzzle, you have the + star-button opening the lid. If the lid is open when the correct combination is reached, the lid closes at the same time as the acorn is made visible. Please remove the "on press" link frm the + star to the chest lid, and the bug is fixed. Also ths puzzle is a bit hard. I recommend you change the lock code to 1 1 1, and the output value from the three correct starbuttons to 1, this way the order of the buttons does not matter. Also add a reset from all the wrong star-buttons to the lock. This way, if you press a wrong star, all the tree correct stars needs to be pushed again. You can remove the backup acorn from the drawer. Also it is not nesceserry to hide the acorn, but that seems to work, so why change it. Continued...

If anyone has any suggestions for how to stop items from disappearing when they shouldn't, I would appreciate it. I can move items around all I want, make them invisible until things open, but they still vanish...but not for everyone and not every game. How do I fix something that only sometimes happens?

I had the same problem with the acorn not being in the box, there was no backup acorn in any drawer either. One thing I noticed - you only need to press 2 stars to get the box to open and close repeatedly - does that help with debugging? . Also no red 'x'. I'ts a shame coz it was a good room until that point...

Thanks for the feedback! I think I fixed the first issue by giving up on 'inside' the box. For the second problem, I tried to overcome this occasional glitch with a backup in the top dresser drawer that will only appear when the box opens. Hopefully both won't glitch. And hopefully people who run into the problem read the walkthrough because that's where I explain how to find the backup. It's hard to fix something that doesn't consistently go wrong. Concerning the 3rd, I was slightly concerned it was too tricky compared to the rest of the puzzles, but I did put a step by step account of the solution in the walkthrough, so hopefully it won't stop people from finishing if they don't want to take the time to puzzle it out. I also did notice there were two 'correct' configurations based off the clue, so I added red x's on the 'wrong' version.

Really liked this but had a few minor issues. 1st: Nana's die hopped out & went away but then showed up embedded in floor (but misshapen) & my 2nd try it was falling from ceiling to floor - had to spam grab til I caught it. 2nd: My first try the Acorn was not in the box. This also caused a prob where I tried to redo the box opening process but it just closed and was no longer available. 3rd: Just me but I felt the toy box puzzle wasn't totally clear as to which squares to turn..but I did manage so maybe it isn't too bad:steamhappy: Otherwise this is nicely done:steamthumbsup::eskey:
