Guang'an City, a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Sichuan Province, is located in the eastern part of the Sichuan Basin, in the humid monsoon climate zone of the Central Subtropics, with four distinct seasons, warm climate, abundant rainfall and rich products; the territory of the Jialing River and Qujiang River twists and turns back into the Changjiang River, the Huaying mountains, Tongluo mountains, Mingyue mountains parallel distribution in the eastern part of the city, the area of 6,339 square kilometers; under the jurisdiction of 2 districts, 3 counties. The city has 2 districts, 3 counties, and 1 county-level city; as of the end of 2021, Guang'an has a total household population of 4,532,000.

Guang'an District, under Guang'an City, Sichuan Province, is located in the eastern part of the Sichuan Basin, the western foot of the middle part of the Huaying Mountains, the western bank of the Qu River. It is the political, economic and cultural center of Guang'an City. Adjacent to Linshui County, Peng'an County, Fengfeng District, Yuechi County and Huaying City, is the hometown of Deng Xiaoping. It covers an area of 1027.75 square kilometers.

广安市，四川省辖地级市，重庆都市圈北部副中心城市，位于四川盆地东部，地处中亚热带湿润季风气候区，四季分明，气候温暖，雨量充沛，物产丰富；境内嘉陵江、渠江曲折回环汇入长江，华蓥山、铜锣山、明月山平行分布于市境东部，幅员面积6339平方千米；下辖2个区、3个县，代管1个县级市；截至2021年底，广安市户籍总人口453.2万人。

广安区，隶属四川省广安市，地处四川盆地东部、华蓥山中段西麓，渠江西岸。为广安市政治、经济、文化中心。毗邻渠县、蓬安县、前锋区、岳池县以及华蓥市，是邓小平故乡。幅员面积1027.75平方公里。
