Do you worship the Dark Gods and feel like they gift you nothing in return aside from a gnawing lust for power? Fear not! For now they have begun to issue gifts as well! You can become an even spikier person, or grow multiple extra limbs, or even your own Vilitch twin! OF course, if you annoy the Ruinous Powers, they might just turn you into a Chaos Spawn. But hey, power's power, right?

This mod adds a mutation mechanic for Chaos, Norsca, and Beastmen generic characters using traits and dilemmas. By spending skill points on mutation-triggering skills, you will be presented with random choices, three of which may grant a mutation (or a curse), and the last of which allows you to refuse the gift of the Dark Gods. Of course, refusing a gift from your patron god is risky.


  • Over 50 mutations - Some of them powerful enough to change lord's playstyle. Some debilitating. For Chaos, Beastmen and Norsca.
  • Separate mutations for melee and magic characters.
  • Mutations for all generic Beastmen, Chaos and Norsca characters
  • A small chance for rare and powerful Blessings from one of the four Dark Gods.
  • A small chance to become Chaos Spawn - changing the role of all agents and lord touched by this "gift".
  • Around 10 new abilities.
  • AI will also get the new mutations (starting one and during leveling up), making fighting against the Ruinous Powers more challenging.
  • Currently does not affect god-Marked characters

Known issues:
  • The Chaos Spawn animation on the campaign is jittery. It's just the Spawn phasing in and out of the warp.
  • Certain generic lords who start the campaign already on the map won't have a starting mutation. If playing one of those factions, replacing the lord should spawn a mutation.
