T3 Emperor, Byzantine & Campaign Modifiers

描述
CHANGELOG

  • Changes the appearance of the T3 Byzantine Emperor
  • Buffs the Orthodox Monastery to have Sanitation in adjacent and some religious osmosis, no need to build Patriachal Sees in every high non-Orthodox province.
  • Buffs the Orthodox Religious modifier, from -25% maintenance of religious buildings to +1 osmosis.
  • Reduces the experience required to level up general and agents, no more dead generals and governors before they can max out since MK1212 focuses on 2 TPY.
  • Doubled the gravitas for armies, heroic victories, decisive victories, even regular victories. Generals commanding armies gain passive gravitas much like governors of provinces, no more fat and idle faction leaders and heirs required to sit in a province to accumulate influence. You can alternatively opt to have military faction leaders instead. In fact, I would highly recommend using family members as military commanders, as the passive influence gain is greater than simply governing. This is a double edged sword cause if you lose your commander (faction leader) in battle a civil war can erupt due to an inexperienced heir. If you opt for the safer path and use other nobles to lead your armies, you risk them becoming too influential and they can rebel against you with the entire army at their disposal. As it would be historical in the case of Byzantine history and history in general, where generals often deposed rulers, since they were "infuential" with the backing of the army.
  • Faction leader gains double experience.
  • Army traditions experience requirements dropped, no more pathetic armies despite playing 400 turns.
  • Empire of Nicaea flag with the 4 B's design. (Βασιλεὺς βασιλέων βασιλευόντων βασιλεύει "King of Kings ruling over the Kings")
  • Assets for the new emperor models, including T1 and T2 Byzantine Emperor, however, on the frontend and campaign map will only show T3 variant despite researching T2 or T3, this is a game issue for alternative variants for the frontend and campaign check out the submods linked below.

UPDATES

  • Adjusted the geometry of the helmet and hair clipping.
  • Adjusted the armor to more late Italic plate type armour for this general since it was documented that the Byzantines used them towards the twilight of their empire, and being the best of the armour of the time, it was certainly used by the emperor.
  • ADDED TREBIZOND EMPEROR!
  • Nerfed the general experience gain and army tradition gain, it is no longer 50% of the original but rather ~75% of the original, since they were leveling up too quickly.
  • Fixed script for generals to gain influence/gravitas while commanding an army (Needs at least one unit in the army that is not the general)
  • Added more solid and meaningful effects for the Basileus and Megas Stratopedarches (Heirs of Byzantine factions ONLY) such as army upkeep, recruitment, morale, gravitas/influence, replenishment and integrity.
  • Adjusted T3 Trebizond Emperor cloak to the dull reb-blue combo which hid the embroidery, to the more vibrant and rich purple-gold combo.
  • Added the embroidery skirt for the T3 Nicaean Emperor and changed the Cloak colour to purple.
  • Added guilded assets for the T3 Nicaean Emperor for a richer look.
  • Amended T3 Nicaean Emperor helmet combination to look more historically accurate thanks to the information from Banskie100.
  • Edited the map on the faction selection page of Empire of Nicaea to reflect the new flag.
  • Nerfed the general experience gain and army tradition gain, it is no longer 75% of the original but rather 85% of the original, since they were leveling up too quickly.

NOTE

Place the mod above in the load order to ALL the MK1212 AD mods, can only use one version at a time it's either T1, T2 or T3. But it is save gave compatible, so you can switch the Submods, if you fancy mid game to reflect, the relevant technological progress of the era and subsequent changes to the armour of the Emperor himself.

I love the buffs that come along with this mod would you be willing to package all the non specific genera buffs and army buffs and re post this mod? I dont have the time or skill, i understand if not but it would be greatly appreciated. unless i could find a mod for mk1212 that already has this?

Great stuff. Any chance these mods can be put together... that it will change automatically to the Tier level? So no need activate the mods all the time when you reach a new level

Awesome ....it takes forever to get anywhere as Byzantine vanilla 1212. Cant see any enemy agents etc. I feel like they must be there bcuz religious unrest is all over the place. Overall activity dies down after 100 turns.

I cant actually articulate my happiness. I was literally thinking about this today, after not having touched Attila for the better part of a month; "damn, it would have been cool if the Byzantine Emperors looked cooler", and wouldn't you know it!
