Overview
PUBG: Battlegrounds offers a very wide range of attachments to be used with weapons. Yet, since some of them seem working better than others and/or seem working with some weapons only, players should learn to prioritize which one to pick when multiple choices are available.

Muzzles

Generally speaking for AR, DMR, O12 and S12K, Compensator seems to be the best of all availables muzzles. Yet, Flash Hider seems better than related compensator counterpart since a small 5% boost for vertical recoil control seems to be less useful than elimination of weapon muzzle flash from a distance, especially in final stages of game: after all, players can learn manual compensating but can not hide weapon flash just with their own ability. The new tool Muzzle Brake seems to give no real advantage compared to flash hider unless attached, perhaps, to O12 weapon which causes a lot of camera shake when firing.

On the side of DMR and SR, Flash Hider seems to be fitting the majority of situations whilst Compensator would be best attached to DMR weapon because of its higher fire ratio compared to SR weapon. Conversely, a compensated SR seems to have no real use.

When using SMG weapon, Compensator is the best choice during CQC fights to the extent that Flash Hider seems to have no real use.

Suppressor, even if visually appealing, is useful for increasing hip fire accuracy rather than providing any advantage from the weapon sound reduction: as matter of facts, even if in a different way, weapon sounds can still be heard. Players who are not accustomed with hip-firing should refrain from using suppressors; however, if they use suppressor, they would need to pair it with laser sights in order to max their hip-firing skill. It seems quite intuitive that, in this game, suppressor provide no real use to DMR and SR weapons and would better fit handguns only.

Stocks

As far as it concerns comparison between Cheek Pad (DMR, SR) and Bullet Loops (SG, SR, Win94), players might have to take a decision when they use sniper rifles like Kar98k or Mosing Nagant. Since these particular sniper rifles are very slow, the best option for them would be to increase bullet reloading speed rather than using cheek pad which seems to be of no real use.

In the match between Tactical Stock (SMG, AR, M249) and Heavy Stock (SMG, AR, M249), Tactical Stock might be helpful when firing single shots whilst Heavy Stock might be helpful when firing small bursts; however, additional ADS speed would make Tactical Stock a good choice if you are in need to use M16 or equivalent AR as a DMR replacement weapon or if you are in need to quickly hip-fire an enemy popped out of nowhere.

Folding Stock (Skorpion, Micro UZI, MP9) is just a mandatory attachment for small SMG weapons.

Foregrips

Lightweight Grip is best choice for DMR weapons when firing single shots at moderate speed; if earlier attachment is not available, Thumbgrip is second best choice.

Other foregrips are best mounted either on ARs and SMGs because they seems to be oriented to a better recoil control: Halfgrip seems best choice here because of its overall balance; however, if Halfgrip is missing, Angled Foregrip seems good because of its ADS speed (which provides fast scoping) and high horizontal recoil control (which would ease manual compensation activity). Vertical Foregrip, although visually appealing, does not have many pros so it should be used as last resort when all other grips are missing or cannot be used with current-wielded weapon.

Laser Sight is just a mandatory attachment in case players want to max their weapon's hip-fire accuracy.
Final considerations
Since game experience is different accordingly to each player, there might be players who prefer some attachments over others accordingly to their own way of firing (e.g. hip-firing, quick-scoping etc.); this guide, however, only relies on official numbers provided within PUBG game environment and aims to be just a quick reminder for both novices and veterans who are ultimate responsible for best combination of their attachments accordingly to their needs.

Other attachments are excluded by this guide because they are strictly related either to own player's taste and/or skill.

Please consider that this guide may be subject to future changes since PUBG game is still being updated from time to time (game version at time of guide: 31.1.1).

You seem to be really discounting boosts to vertical recoil control. The compensator and vertical grip are top of class and should almost always be on your gun if you can find them!

@DryagedPotato I had the exact same thought at first so i had to give it a try and see by myself at first before leaving any negative comment. I never ever used halfgrip and lightweight grip before in the game, i was absolutely sold to vertical one and angled one. After trying the halfgrip into my fully kitted ace32 i can tell you that i was really impressed on how good it was, i haven't tryed it out on any other AR's yet but i can tell that for the ace32 I'm definitely not going for a vertical grip again. I also tryed the lightweight grip with a fully kitted SKS and i was also really impressed how well the recoil/sway was controlled, on this one i can't say that i will use it more than another as i haven't tryed it enough but i definitely can say that if i only came across a lightweight grip in game then i won't be afraid to attach it to my SKS.

I fixed images for stocks and foregrips, thanks for noticing.
As far as it concerns the vertical grip, it is really up to player's taste as earlier mentioned in this guide therefore I made just a comparison among these attachments.
Thank you all for commenting though.

Hello, thank you for your comment!
I updated guide accordingly to your suggestion and I also changed "Halfgrip" picture because, in one of the earlier updates, its "Sway control (firing)" property has been reduced from +5% to 0.
