Description
UPDATED FOR 3.12 ANDROMEDA!

Clears out completed archaeology sites automatically. Will wait a minimum of 1 year, and a maximum of 2 years before clearing a site (the clearing event runs on the first day of the year). Leaves the deposits behind, so you'll still get the minor artifacts that you can collect from some of them.



UPDATE ON BEHAVIOR: Some people are still reporting problems with special sites being cleared too soon, even with the minimum one year delay. So I've added an edict! The edict will prevent any sites from being removed as long as it's active, effectively disabling the mod temporarily, for as long as the edict is active.

Thanks to mzilli for Destroy Archeological Sites, it helped me figure out how some of this works. I recommend you grab that mod as well, because it will let you manually delete a site in case mine misses any.

Lezzistrata, is there a way to remove the whole rift with console command? I've been looking for a way for a long time, but I haven't found it :steamfacepalm: They ruin my perfect galaxy...

@gumbar Yeah, I'm still working on it. Sadly it doesn't work like a regular archaeology site, so as far as I can tell I can't remove the site without removing the whole rift. Current idea is to replace them with "dummy" rifts that have the astral thread output without anything else.

Savadrin, only two precursors have dig sites, the Zroni and the Grunur. The others are just done through anomalies and special projects.

Also, the precursor digsites are generated from an amonaly, and when completed, automatically create a pecial project somehwere else that turns into a digsite once researched. If you get the Zroni or Grunur precursor, you are guaranteed to get their digsite on the first precursor anomaly you research.

The likelihood of digsites appearing has nothing to do with whether or not you get the precursor ones, becaue hte precursor ones are 100% guaranteed to spawn if you get that precursor.

I've been trying to figure out a way to make this hide completed astral rifts, however I haven't come up with a way to do it yet.

Hey, does this remove completed astral rifts too? Or do they just count as digsites?

now if only someone would make a mod to generate more dig sites. i go multiple games in a row without a precursor becuase i got no dig sites

@Sebaty5 Pretty high. I've already been looking in to adding an option for this mod to clear completed rifts.
