Why is my cursor frozen in the menu screen?
sometimes when you start bf2 the cursor is not on the screen because when you start the game ea thinks that you are in the In-game overlay.
this is how you disable the in-game overlay.

Press the three lines on the top left.

press settings.

once you press settings click on application.

scroll down the page until you find in-game overlay and turn it off.
