How to make the takeout / to-go-counter work

1) First go to the Build Mode and put a normal wall, ideally in the kitchen.
2) Then go to the category "Special" and place the counter wall.
3) Then you go the Buy Mode and place the To-Go-Counter in the category "Special" onto the counter wall.
4) If you want to, you can go to the category "Decorations" and put the small roof. Not sure if this roof is required to make the counter work.
5) Finally, you must go to the category "Kitchen" and place the little table for wrapping near the To-Go-Counter where staff can wrap the ordered meal.

From then on, people will order meals and your staff goes there automatically to serve them.

Alternatively, you can also rotate just the To-Go-Tresen to the desired direction by just clicking the right mouse button, not holding it down as you do to rotate the entire tavern. So you either rotate the tavern by holding down the right mouse button or rotate an object by just clicking it.

if you want people to order meals from outside, you simply must place the To-Go-Counter from outside. Just tried it and that's how it appears. The menu board will appear on the side where you place it. You rotate the camera to the wanted direction by pressing the right mouse button. Let me know if you managed to do it this way.

Question: I cannot get the take out set up to face the correct direction out the window. It always faces backwards - the menu facing inside the restaurant. I had to install this feature inside my restaurant instead. Is there a way to put back outside?

Here's some tips from my play experience:

1) You only need one wrapping table. Multiple staff will "stack" on it while using it.
2) The takeout can be placed inside your tavern near to your kitchen for efficient orders.
3) The Roof Decoration is not required for the takeout to function.
4) The takeout counter is rotation specific. The Menu board should be on the customer side of the wall.
5) If you have the staff and income, hire a waitress and set them to only do Takeout orders, and set your other wait staff to not do takeout. This ensures that your staff will focus on customers effectively.
