[Outdated] Run ULTRAKILL natively on Linux

This guide is outdated. Use https://github.com/coatlessali/Frown/releases/tag/0.1 instead.

Prerequisites

• Version 2.5.6 of the Discord Game SDK[discord.com].
  
• Version 1.4.8a of the Steamworks SDK.
  
• https://github.com/coatlessali/Ultrakill-Linux-Porting-Script.

Port The Game

• 1. Insert libsteam_api.so from the Steamworks SDK zip file, located in "/sdk/redistributable_bin/linux64/" into your ULTRAKILL folder.
  
• 2. Insert discord_game_sdk.so from the Discord Game SDK zip file, located in "/lib/x86_64/" into your ULTRAKILL folder.
  
• 3. Drop both ULTRAPORT.tar.gz and ultraport.sh into your ULTRAKILL Folder.
  
• 4. Open a terminal in your ULTRAKILL folder and ensure that the script is executable with "chmod +x ./ultraport.sh".
  
• 5. Execute the script with "./ultraport.sh".
  
• 6. The script will tell you what to set your launch options to. Do that.
  
• 7. Click play in Steam.

Congratulations!

You can now enjoy ULTRAKILL without utilizing ANY 32-bit libraries other than for Steam itself. You can also cut out Steam by launching ULTRAKILL.x86_64 directly. Your cloud saves and leaderboards should work.

With Proton, new shaders didn't work (everything was black), but with the script, they worked and there was an FPS boost.
