Pokemon Piplup - Gnome Replacer

Another relic of the legendary Billy Joe Bob has been recovered and, in case it's not obvious, Billy Joe Bob loved Pokemon. No, listen to me, he LOVED Pokemon. They were his guilty pleasure in life, before the world went to hell. Did he ever catch 'em all, you ask? Billy Joe Bob claimed he did. Though he also claimed to have caught 3 Jackelope, 1 Chupacabra, and the Beast of Bladenboro. So take that for whatever it's worth.

Naturally, Billy Joe Bob deemed it necessary to immortalize his love for those cute little beasts with a clay sculpture of his very favorite, Piplup. And lemme tell you, Billy Joe Bob truly loved his creation. He consentually cuddled him every night, he lugged him around everywhere in one of those little Yoda backpacks, and Piplup was even best man at Billy Joe Bob's 2nd and 3rd marriages. (Both of which only lasted a single week. Combined. But I'm digressing.)

What's so special about little Piplup, you ask? Why was Billy Joe Bob's love, devotion, and loyalty so strong for that adorable penguin? Did he see something that we can't, some incredible innate ability, some vast power lurking beneath the surface that would one day compel all other Pokemon to bend the knee before the mighty Piplup? Lucky for you, I knew Billy Joe Bob personally, and I asked him those very same questions. "He's cute," was his abrupt yet terse reply. That he is Billy Joe Bob, that he is. I mean, who doesn't think penguins are cute? Aside from perhaps Charles Manson, Hannibal Lector, and those people who post useless Steam guides, nobody aside from them would disagree on the cuteness of a penguin. And now you get to enjoy this post-apocalyptic cuteness too.

Does it come with a Pokeball, you ask? Is he stocked with any Pokemon powers, you ask? No! Are you soft in the head? It's literally just a piece of painted clay. But an adorable piece of painted clay. Oh, wait! It does have a little voicebox and water squirting mechanism embedded somewhere inside it. So there is that. They're not actually useful but Billy Joe Bob slaved away for weeks figuring out how to ensure the water resevoir would refill itself on demand, so at least try to enjoy the gimmicks for his sake.

What will conflict with this mod?

It should go without saying but any mod that modifies the textures or model of the gnome will conflict.

The sound effect in this mod piggybacks on an — as far as I'm aware — unused sound effect 'bell1.wav' via the Bot.StuckSound script mapping, so any mod that piggybacks on that same sound file (though very few should or would have any reason to) will conflict as well.

Why can't I see the particle effects?

Because you haven't subscribed to King's Particles yet, silly.
