BLAST Paris CS:GO Major 2023 - Information and Predictions
Von bot.døc
From May 8th to May 21st, the BLAST.tv Major is set to make history as the first CS:GO championship to be held in France! The Major in Paris will also mark BLAST’s first-ever time hosting a Valve-sponsored competition. The Danish tournament organiser has established itself as being one of the front runners of tournament creation, pulling off million-dollar spectacles such as the BLAST Premier World Final in December 2022 alongside having yearlong league circuits featuring many of the world's best teams.

24 teams will compete to win the last CS:GO Major (before switching to CS2) and earn the lion’s share of the pot, taking home $500,000 for their title-winning effort as well as earning a coveted place at IEM Cologne 2023. The runners-up will be awarded $170,000, with those finishing in 3-4th place earning just $70,000 of the winnings. The French Major will once again boast a $1,250,000 prize pool, continuing the trend that was first introduced at the IEM Rio Major in November.

General Information

The BLAST.tv Major is set to make history as the first CS:GO championship to be held in France and the LAST CS:GO Major, before moving to Counter Strike 2 (CS2). The country has been a staple of the Counter-Strike franchise over the years, with LDLC even lifting the trophy at DreamHack Winter 2014, the fourth Valve-sponsored event of CS:GO.

The French Major will once again boast a $1,250,000 prize pool, continuing the trend that was first introduced at the IEM Rio Major in November. The winning team will earn the lion’s share of the pot, taking home $500,000 for their title-winning effort as well as earning a coveted place at IEM Cologne 2023. The runners-up will be awarded $170,000, with those finishing in 3-4th place earning just $70,000 of the winnings.

To supplement this, the Major is expected to once again feature in-game sticker sales, which will go live just before the start of the tournament and provide financial compensation to both players and organisations that qualify for the event.

When?
The BLAST.tv Paris Major will take place between May 8 - May 21, 2023.

Where?
The BLAST.tv Paris Major playoffs will be held in the Accor Arena, a recently renovated stadium that can accommodate up to 20,000 people. The venue, which is situated on the banks of the River Seine, is one of the main music concert locations in Paris and is also used to host numerous sporting events ranging from boxing to tennis and hockey.

@_WHN_NIK_ I considered NIP, but in the end Monte looks like a better overall team. Indeed the 1st game looks easier for NIP, but don't forget that MOUZ was semifinalist in the last major and FaZe barely got into this major. It's a gamble, for sure. But this is my feeling. Good luck!

@Lashxo I always say that you should do your own research before making any decisions. Look at every team's performance in RMR, take others opinions in consideration and in the end go with what seems to be the best for you. In the end is just a gamble and we might have some big surprises, like in the Rio Major. Good luck!

What do you think about NIP instead of Monte ? Also, went for Fluxo 0-3, as mogolz seem to be inconsistent in their performance and have clutched some tough matches before.
P.S thanks for your contribution :mllrsniperround::steamthis::steamthumbsup::Toxic_Geralt:
