Yfir Tjorn

Description
Yfir Tjörn is a walled mining town that you can buy into, located on a high plateau with beautiful vistas of the Rift. Once an Imperial fort that has since changed hands many times, there are even older buildings and areas to explore. Quests, merchant shops, trainers, and potential marriage partners abound. More opportunities become available as you talk to the townsfolk and invest in the businesses, including a house for purchase.

The player's home, Cabin-Upon-Sky, may seem a bit/tad/skosh expensive, but it comes fully furnished. The guard dog is optional, speak to the steward.

I like open world and explored the concept with a number of buildings. The other concept I played with is paying for access to stuff. It's a large town with plenty of resources, but it is away from the main trade routes and therefore somewhat strapped for cash.

There are about a dozen quests, some interconnected. Many are not automatically set to activate the markers in the quest log. A couple of the objective markers pointed me in the wrong direction during multiple test runs, tried and failed to fix them but they were stubborn, so I left some in-game clues. For the Witchblade quest, talk to Ra'jha-nir the Traveler about odd jug locations. For the The Eldritch Hag quest, the marker may line you up at the Arkayn Tower - go to the Eldritch Tower instead.

The mod was created without including DLCs, so moving your family here will require a separate mod.

Most of the custom voiced dialog was generated with xVASynth.

For reference, the filename for this mod is TjornALopt.

Several other mods are also available for download in my Workshop.

It is concerning that the dragon disappeared, since it never did that in any of my many test runs. (dragonhide jug spoiler next:) The dragonhide jug is located in the cavern. If you have the quest active in your quest log, you should see the marker for it when you enter the cavern.

He has no clues at all, I didn't need the clues to find the first ones then I went down into the cave and there was a dragon who I didn't kill but is no longer there. Nowhere I have looked has the odd dragonhide jug and there's only 8 markers on the map for them when I bring it up. Did the dragon drop the last jug?

Speak to Ra'jha-nir the Traveler. If that is your last jug there should be one clue left.

So I cannot for the life of me find the odd dragonhide jug lol any hints? Nobody I speak to says anything helpful and I have activated the other ones

Glad you were able to find everything. Not sure if you tried this, but most quests can be activated from the quest log. Most of the quests do not start automatically active. The quest "Talk to the Boss" puts a quest marker on the leader.

While developing the mod I kept encountering issues with the quest markers, so I removed a lot of the automatic activation.

ps. the woman singing at the pub.. she sang beautifully. I loved it. I actually stayed to listen to the whole song.. really beautiful! Id love to know how you did that. (Im not a modder, Im a farmer, gardener, dog trainer, once for 12 years was a ballet dancer and kick boxer.. so.. I dont really know anything about modding)

Its ok, I thank you so much for your quick response. However, I didnt give up last night. I kept going. I eventually found everything ish, that I was looking for. it was so much fun. thank you!

I still feel you should limit some of the forestation in the area as it seems to be well traveled by at least the children and the poor couple.
The Leader's home is still hard to find and doesnt look much different from any other building. infact, I keep going to the religious building because it has flags and most of the king/jarl locations ornate flags.. so.. I continued to enter that building multiple times.. still not really finding the leader of this village.

I also couldnt find the steward the jarl spoke up.. I wanted to go back to him to find out precisely where this steward is... I assume he said the hotel..
the only location that I assume is a hotel with open walls, nearly 3 floors, basement, an old man, a female, and a buff dude on the roof always walking back and forth. but none of them were labeled steward..
even though I couldnt find what I was looking for towards the end.. still really great mod. I really enjoyed having to find all the everything. lol. thank you

In regards to the question about the markers leading to the well...(spoiler alert) There is one jug in the well, and the water valve is the only way out of the well. Also, one of the exits from Shade's Green Cavern puts you in that well, it's essentially a one way door, but I could not figure out how make the odd jug markers point away from it. So as a workaround, the khajiit traveler offer some clues to the correct locations if you ask him.

I'm not certain which cache and cave you're referring to, but I'll give it a shot (spoiler alert)... Completing some of the the odd jugs quests opens side tunnels in the green cavern. These generally don't lead anywhere but do remain open, so you can find them again by wandering around. Another spoiler alert... Perhaps you are referring to the Welfwater cavern with the huge tree? There is an outside entrance to it that is not initially on the map. Or perhaps you saw a tunnel at the bottom of the Clearspring Tower Basement. There is an entrance to the basement below the exterior of the Clearspring Tower.
