Description

A mod that provides new designs for all of the slugcats! Naturally, it requires Dress My Slugcat. Note that Artificer uses the default face due to weird stuff with the scar. Inv and Nightcat not included, though they might be once I make designs for them.

————————PLEASE READ —————————

Instructions for use to achieve the intended appearance of the sprites: (Failure to follow the instructions will result in very odd-looking sprites.)

ALL: Set /all/ colors to #FFFFFF (pure white) in the customize menu. Head, Face, Body, Tail, all of it.

MONK: Make /sure/ to set face colors to white. Activate tail asymmetry.

HUNTER: Activate tail asymmetry.

RIVULET: Activate tail asymmetry. The tail will look /terrible/ without it. Recommended to set tail length to 6, wideness to 2, and roundness to 0.3. Adjust as desired.

ARTIFICER: Activate tail asymmetry. Leave face sprite colors alone (she uses the default face due to sprite difficulties.)

SPEARMASTER: Activate tail asymmetry.

OH, ok nevermind! just a tip for anyone new to Rain World mods (like me) who happens to have this same problem (and doesn't want to scroll through two years of comments), you have to equip the skins by going to the "Get Fancy" button, then clicking "customize" under each individual body part. You'll see the list of sprites there. :)

So... I download and activated both this mod and DMS, but in game all the sprites are just white (because I made sure to set all the colors to white). Is there something else I have to do or...? The skins just aren't loading at all. ;-;

Cicada (plz idk how to notify users), fanbase calls Arti a girl because of how she's called in Inv's dating thingy. There's no official gender if any, but we like girls! And also moms. A mom can lift a car to save her baby (maybe)! An Artificer mom can commit genocide and become leader of said group over two dead pups. A dad could do that too, of course, but people in rain world like badass girls ig.

Eggcellent, it's literally canon that rw doesn't use the same taxonomy as us lol. They aren't rodents, they aren't cats, they aren't mollusks, and sorry but they're not even mustelids (though I think that's the closest match on earth, cuz slugcats don't have front teeth that never stop growing)
People made the rodent thing way too popular because they're called mice or rodents (they don't speak real world english, obviously), yet no one mentions the same guy calls the "wet mouse" a land fish. No, not rodents, no, not cats, I don't even think they're mammals, since the lizards aren't reptiles.
Let's just call them slugcat or whatever. That's the only confirmed thing they are.
