Beating P-2 or how to ULTRACHEESE
Von Dogoo Slayer
Tired of constantly replaying P-2 just to get a good score? Don't want to spend your time and nerves fighting that damn idoled stalker? If you're not lactose intolerant, then this guide is just for you. I will tell you how to P-rank this damn level using cheese. As long as the stuff mentioned in here is not patched...

Before you start your P-rank run...
Alright, listen here. You are trying to beat the hardest level in this game (probably not as hard as P-3), so you'll have to use the most powerful tactics and weaponry you have.
And yes, this guide is about cheesing your way through this level.

If you want to beat it the fair way to feel better about yourself - then go look up P-ranking guides on YouTube. Most of them don't have cheesy tactics like in this guide.

So, with that said, let's start with the first thing we need to do, which is:
Choosing your equipment
Revolver
For a revolver I recommend taking Slab Piercer and Default Marksman.
Slab Piercer will help you with dealing some decent damage while your Railcannon is on cooldown.

Nailgun
Since this level (mostly) has small rooms, Sawblade Launcher is your best option. It really helps with setting up saw-traps to deal burst damage before enemy starts attacking.
I would not recommend taking the default nailgun, because Sawblade just gives too much to not pick it.

Railcannon
You're going to need the screwdriver. Both to cheese your way through the level and to get some healing in dire situations.

Practicing
Before you event start trying to beat the level, I highly recommend practicing the Prime bossfight. This way you will be sure that you'll get your P-rank after fighting your way through enemies.
You can skip all the fighting using a shortcut that was added in a patch 12b. It is located right above your spawn room. You can use either Slam Storage or Freezeframe Rocketlauncher to get there.
At the end of the shortcut you'll have to break glowing floor and fall through it.
You can skip right to the "Fighting the Prime" section if you're going to follow my advice and learn to beat the boss first.
First room: Four big guys
Oh no! We are in a closed room with no way to run away from the attacks from these four Cerberi! How can I survive this?
Get on the highground. It's simple as that. You might get hit with some exploding balls, but using I-Frames from dashing just helps with that.

To get there, simply jump, slam and then jump again and get on top of the arc at the entrance. Or you can rocket jump\ride there, works either way.

But before you trigger the spawns, you'll need to prepare the Saw-Trap.
Enter the room and don't step any further than 1\3rd of the room from entrance. Place down magnets in any way you'd like and shoot the blades. Then you jump, move closer to the spawn trigger, slam, jump and then get on the godspot. Make sure to wait out the ball throw before going there to not fall off and get damaged.

You can also use the new S.R.S Cannon tech to instakill or deal extremely high damage to Cerberus. Just charge the S.R.S Cannon, trigger spawn, shoot the cerberi and then shoot the ball with Railcannon. Make sure the beam hits both the ball and Cerberus, and maybe even some other Cerberi too.
Also don't worry about the Ferryman. His AI will be disabled when you are on that godspot. Just don't get down from there. If you did got down after his spawn - there is 50\50 chance he will spam an attack that will hit you in that godspot.

At this point you should just spam projectile boost, rockets, ricochetes - everything you can to gain as much style as possible. You should be able to reach ULTRAKILL rank in there, if you switch weapons often enough.
And make sure to leave one damaged Cerberus alive. You should first focus on killing the Ferryman, because when there is just one enemy in the room - two Virtues will spawn outside, making your life miserable.
Once you're done with that room, you can either use Railcannon to double kill two Virtues outside, or just Pump Overcharge them both. The faster you kill these things the better.
Second room: WHERE IS THAT IDOL?!
So, you're done with Four Big Guys. Time for the next fight.
As far as I know, there is no cheese in this room. You'll have to stick to some cheesy strats, yeah, but the room itself doesn't have any godspots or room-specific cheese to help you beat it.

As always prepare a Saw-Trap. Just throw in some magnets at the middle, closer to the corridor, and shoot the blades. It will help with killing Funny Yellow Fella.

I recommend preparing either Railcannon or Piercer shot to hit two Sentries and Chainsawman Wannabe in single hit, which will help you deal with them faster.
And focus on killing sentries first, then Swordsmachine. Sentries are annoying af.

How to kill Swordsmachine
I'm not going to sugarcoat it:
+ PARRY
+ ENRAGED

Also a little bit of good positioning will give you some
+ FRIENDLYFIRE
with the help of Mindflayer.

How to deal with Idoled Mindflayer
Knuckleblaster explosion will deflect any projectile coming your way. When you hear that Blue ♥♥♥♥♥ charhing up her attack, get ready to use the Red Arm.
You can also just parry her blue orbs, which will give you health and stamina. Just make sure you dash right after the parry, because you can't parry all of the projectiles at once with the Feedbacker.

Schisms don't present much danger. You should know some ways of instakilling them at this point, so I'm not going to teach you this.
The corridor: The Gas Chamber
Damn I'm so edgy.
Anyways, now that you're done with the second room, you will be followed by the Idoled Mindflayer. Not for long, though. Once you get in this corridor, I recommend placing yet another Saw-Trap to deal with two Streetcleaners. Make sure you do it quickly, as the sawblades have limited number of times they can deflect from a surface.

There will also be a Cerberus at the end, use whatever tech you know to deal with him. I also recommend using Piercer Shot to damage Cerberus and kill Streetcleaners. Also make sure to properly position yourself so the Mindflayer's orbs and beam damage Cerberus.

And save the Railcannon, because you will need it for the second cheese, which is:
Locking Mindflayer in the corridor
It's a very simple trick.
For some reason, Idol doesn't save the target from the Screwdriver. And as most of us know, Screwdriver blocks a Mindflayer's ability to teleport. Combine that with the fact that it can't physically go through the blocker during the next spawn trigger (screenshots below), we are able to trap the Mindflayer in a corridor, thus letting us deal with just a single Idoled Mindflayer in the next room.

Simply shoot the Mindflayer with a Screwdriver and GTFO. Try to leave the Blue ♥♥♥♥♥ in the middle of the corridor, as it will help kill it after we're done with Idols and guarantee that she stays there.
Third room: Prepare for trouble and make it double
Well, the trouble won't be doubled. More like multiplied by one and a half, because we managed to lock one of the Mindflayers behind, making it easier to clear out this room, where we won't need to dodge that much now.
Following the tradition, we prepare a Saw-Trap to deal some good damage to Swordsmachines. Then we rush closer to idols to kill the Sentry. You can simply stunlock it by slamming near it and then shooting with a rocket launcher. Just do anything you can to kill it quickly. After that you can switch to Yellow Fellas.

Make sure to use Knuckleblaster explosion to deflect Mindflayer's orbs, or just parry them, preferrably right at the Swordsmachine. Parrying helps you dodge more and also gives some health back.

After you're done with two Swordsmachine, two Virtues and Malicious Faces will spawn.

  • Focus on killing the Virtues first and then switch to Malicious Faces.
  • You can shotgun-parry Maurices with Pump Shotgun to instakill them.
  • You can Railcannon two Virtues at the same time, or kill Virtue and enrage (damage) Maurice.
  • You can also Pump-overcharge Virtues for an instakill.

After killing everyone except Mindflayers, the Idols will open. Stand inbetween them and use Knuckleblaster to take out both of them instantaneously.

Then you finish off the Mindflayers using every tech you learned from Cybergrind. Explosion-parrying the orbs is the best way to deal with her.
After killing the Mindflayer in your room, come back to the entrance and finish off the remaining Mindflayer using hitscan weapons. I recommend switching weapons and combining techs to get as much style as you can.
Be careful, as she might sometimes teleport close to you. She shouldn't teleport if you hit her with enough constant damage. Also, while she is inside that corridor, she won't be able to attack you.

After the second Mindflayer is dead, you just turn around, hook the skull while standing on the checkpoint and get out of the room. Be careful to not explode from Mindflayer's self-destruct.
Fourth room: Ballers
This next room will have two Sisyphean Insurrectionist.
Yet again we place down another Saw-Trap. Make sure to not F-up with the saw and magnet placement like I did in the screenshot. And do it quickly, because saws can't deflect too many times.

When Sisyphean Insurrectionists spawn, just fight them like you'd normally do, except for the fact that S.R.S Cannon stuns these Ballers. Use it as much as you can, combining it with explosions to light up Insurrectionists, so they receive more damage.

Combining the S.R.S Cannon Ball with a Railcannon will deal even more damage.

And try to parry as much as you can: stunning Sisyphean Insurrectionist means more room to breathe and heal.
Fifth room: Evil Level Design
This thing. This f-ing thing will RUIN your every single run. Narrow space and walls that damage you. It was designed to make you go insane and loose your P-rank with the simplest enemy spawns.
Yet these walls kinda help us, but not right away.
First thing you do when going inside: make sure you have Railcannon charge up and ready.
If it is, then trigger the spawns, grapple to Virtue, get beside it and instakill both of them with one shot.
Then go behind the Sentry by grappling to it, while dodging from Maurice's orbs. Force those Funny Rocks to kill the Sentry and then grapple to one of Teamkillers, whilst preparing Pump Shotgun to blast them in the face. Try to get the right timing to shotgun-parry them for a quick kill.

Once done, move to the next spawn trigger. Make sure you have your Railcannon fully-charged, because you will need to kill Malicious Face as fast as you can.
Killing Maurice quickly means that both Sentries will fly up from the shockwave, hit the ceiling and die instantly, leaving you alone with two Cerberi.

After dealing with Sentries, proceed to kill Cerberi with any tech you know, whilst trying to gain as much style as you can and dodging their balls by jumping and dashing in one spot.
Try to kill them at the same time, as it will make your life easier, since you won't have to dodge constant ball throws from enraged Andrew.
Final room: stupid little sand-loving bastard
This room is the final obstacle to your P-rank. You are going to suffer, you will go insane, you will spend hours trying to finish this level with no deaths.
And yeah, as far as I know, there is no cheese in this room, unfortunately.
Phase one
Aaaand you guessed it: Saw-Trap time!

Try not to trigger enemy spawns yet. Place the saw-trap in the middle, then proceed to the left or right, where a Swordsmachine will spawn.

Then just proceed to not sugarcoat it. When your chosen Yellow Fella is in second phase, go to the middle and just bait Swordsmachines and Ferryman into saws as much as you can. You can also try Screwdriving Ferryman to have more chances of survival. Use projectile-boosting and Marksman coins as much as you can, as it will help you kill Ferryman, who moves real quickly.

Killing Strays is the lowest priority. You can either keep them as walking health packs, or just kill them right away to not bother with their annoying attacks. I'd recomment keeping them as an emergency heals. It's easier to dodge attacks than trying to get close to a mini-boss to heal.

Whilst fighting other mini-bosses, keep paying attention to Stalker's sound and visual cues. If he is preparing to sand someone - launch him in the air with explosions. Just shoot a rocket near him and then again mid-air, launching him far away, letting you continue healing.
Phase two
Not too hard, more just annoying. You'll need good aim skills to disable other Sentries while you're dealing with one of them. Marksman won't work in here properly, because Hakita decided that ricochetes should target Idoled enemies too.

You may also try to get Chargeback with them, but only if you're sure you won't get killed my Hideous Mass and can actually perfectly time the coin throw. Risky, but kinda worth for the instakill.

After dealing with sentries, an Idol protectin Hideous Mass will open, and also 3 Virtues and 3 Cerberi will be spawned. Destroy the idol and kill Virtues using tactics from previous sections. You can try grappling to one of them and lining a shot to double kill them with a Railcannon.

When the Virtues are dead, place down another Saw-trap, then proceed to kill Cerberi and Hideous Mass.

After the death of the Fat Guy, you will be rewarded with an exposed idol and a chance to murder or torture that Stalker.
Prime fight: appetizer
Congratulations, you managed to get here alive.
Charge up the S.R.S Cannon and fight the Panopticon. It's pretty simple battle, as the only requirement there is to force it into its healing state.
Don't kill the eyes, as they will serve as hookpoints to dodge Panopticon's barrage of yellow orbs.
Just repeat the same tactics you did in P-1. Once the Panopticon reaches healing state, the final boss of this level will show up.

When Panopticon glows in yellow, it means it's time to start grappling around using the yellow eyes scattered around. Or if you're skilled enough - rocket ride around. Keep moving and move fast if you don't want to die.
Prime fight: main dish
Well, here he, the one and the only - Sisiphys Prime.
The way to kill him is pretty much like Minos Prime, except you have to parry much more often.
Just place down some Saw-traps during his dialogue and then prepare for 4x or more Ultraricoshot. You should be able to lower his health down to 40% if you do everything right.

He doesn't announce his every attack like Minos Prime does, so you'll have to keep an eye on him.

He does announce some, though.

"You can't escape!"
Dash throught the first strike, then slide around like during Minos' "Prepare thyself". When Sisiphys goes for a stomp - stop and then parry+dash. You will deal some good damage, heal and regain stamina. Be careful to not get caught in the shockwave.

"BE GONE!"
Sisiphys will clap his hands so hard it will create a shockwave. Just parry his clap and dash instantly to the side to avoid getting hurt.

"DESTROY!"
This attack will spawn an explosion. Simply find the right timing to dash to abuse i-frames.

"THIS WILL HURT!"
Sisiphys will explode with a huge range and damage. Abuse the i-frames.
Final notes
After P-ranking P-2, proceed to repeat the actions done in the images below:

on the fourth encounter, if you go on top of one of the walls on the left and dash back and forth over the acid pit, you can instakill one of the insurrectionists right after they spawn and just stunlock the other one for an easy kill.

honestly i'd say the snipers are lowest in priority. they're so freaking easy to parry theyve gotten me outta pretty sticky situations regarding health and sanded enemies.
