Preface
With Foxhole Update 1.51, a new type of lore content has been added to the game which requires players to visit statues in particular order to "unlock" the next statue lore. A mini version of this interaction can be found in Terminus that consists of a key that must be found first and a locked cabinet which you can unlock and read actual lore only if you have the key. This guide includes both location of statues as well as lore texts.

Since I find these statues less related to the rest of the lore in the game, I created this guide seperately. If you want to check out complete Foxhole Lore Catalogue please visit here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2787494645

How does it work?
This new type of lore requires you to visit and interact with statues in particular order and get a "key" for the next statue, keys for the statues are runestones. If you are carrying required runestone in your inventory will be able to read actual lore text of that statue and acquire a new runestone while losing the old one. Interacting without having required runestone will result with being able to read extremely short and altered version of the lore. After "unlocking" a statue, you will be able to access that text until you restart the game. If you restart the game in the process and hide your runestone somewhere safe, you can take your runestone and continue your journey but you won't be able to read previously unlocked lores anymore. Since statues are placed all around the Caoiva, you might want to share your runestone with people in opposite faction or use their runestone. Alternatively, you can read full texts here.

Great job collecting these lore pieces for lazy peoples like me won’t have to do it XD ! My theory is that the actual warden religion (the Sun religion) replaced an old night cult (and perhaps the warden people replaced an older ethnicity) in a similar way that Christianity replaced the Roman gods, these statues are dating from this period of religious/ethnic transition and are written by the Night goddess cultists, doing an offering to the nightly divinity to triumph against the Sun Religion. Thank you very much, again, for your work

My theory after reading this? Some ancient warden pissed off an eldritch being and she cursed them to never know peace prompting the invasion of the Legion and now she locks them in an eternal battle, each soldier of both armies a shadow of a deadman long passed only to be brought back to live through death yet again.
