Description
This mod will replace M60's default script with a custom script of a 750-RPM machine gun fitted with 100-round magazines. It is suited for guns like M27 IAR, MG36, AUG HBAR and any similar guns, all of which are fitted with 100-round box, drum or belt box magazines.

Changes to the script are:

  • Compatible with any custom HUD icon mods (post-TLS update)
  • Usable by bots
  • 32 damage (def. 50)
  • 750 rounds per minute (def. ~545)
  • 100-round magazine capacity (def. 150)
  • 800 reserved ammo (def. 0)

DISCLAIMER: Firing the gun until the ammo count reaches zero will make it automatically drop from you regardless of how many reserved ammo you have. So, you have to reload the gun before its ammo count reaches zero. Besides, as bots have their own weapon preferences, those who have Assault Rifles as their preferred weapons will keep it while others will not.

Please keep in mind that the custom script mod only works on local servers. So, if you use this mod on any official/unofficial online servers, there's a chance that you'll be kicked from the server.

it wont work i even tried in local and every other mod i have works and is not affecting this one

Oh shet, so I have to like make another folder, which that one is the script, damn, idk if I got it right, but I'll try again

@Cob_V1llain Have you compiled the script properly? The script file should be in the following filepath before you compile it via vpk.exe:

(You script mod's name)\scripts

Oh these guides? I followed it but the prob is that the script I made didn't work, even I get the weapon script from the update folder and modify the said values in the guides.

How do you make a modified weapon script? Are there effective steps for it if you can share?
