Where do Steam Points come from?

• Points are given to everyone for free, as a bonus, for the purchased game, as an option.
  
• For every $1 spent, you get 100 bonus points.
  
• For giving out awards to your profile or your leadership.
  
• Points are not awarded for purchasing the same CS:GO skins, cards, badges, and so on.

Why do you need Steam Points?

• You can give a reward to the profile (For this you get a badge and an achievement)
  
• You can give an award to the leadership (For this you get a badge and an achievement)
  
• You can buy an avatar frame
  
• You can buy a themed avatar
  
• You can buy an animated avatar
  
• You can buy a themed profile background
  
• You can buy an animated profile background
  
• You can buy additional showcases in profile
  
• You can buy a level increase for the profile (I think this is not very profitable)

How to get a badge with Steam Points?

1. Click "Award" this guide


2. Choose one of the awards


3. Admire the new badge on your profile

How to level up Steam with points?

There are several options here:

• buy seasonal badge
  
• Give out more rewards to guides or profiles

By giving out more rewards, you increase the level of your badge, and with it the amount of experience, which increases your Steam level. If you buy a seasonal badge, you simply spend 1000 points for 1 level of the badge.

How to give an award to a profile ?

1. Go to the profile you want to reward, for example THIS

2. Click on the yellow award, as shown in the screenshot:


3. Choose the reward you want to give, each reward is worth from 300 to 4800 points.

4. Click "Next" and "Issue a reward". After that, you will have a Community Patron badge:

Farm points on Steam

It's simple, you can buy inside = game items and sell on the marketplace.

Losing literally 1% -3% on resale, you get Steam points in the equivalent of the purchase amount, for example:

I went through a lot of ways to get cheap points.

The coolest, fastest and least expensive way is to buy a name tag in CS:GO. You get 200+ points for this purchase and immediately sell it on the marketplace, losing only 3% of the purchase, because. the label is sold for more than it costs inside the game.

Once again, so as not to confuse, go to CS: GO and buy this item from the "Shop" tab

Important: You need to buy a name tag exactly on the game, and not on the trading floor, otherwise the bonuses will not be credited.

Can I sell Steam Points ?

No, there is no such possibility in the market itself, only if you reward guides and profiles for payment from the author of the guide.
