BR Standard Classes 6, 7, 8, 8F & 9F

Description
British Rail Standards
Class 6, 7, 8, 8F & 9F

I swear this was supposed to be a small, quick, simple mod.

80 variants overall. So much for that. xP

Anyway, here's a modpack including all of the big BR Standards. I decided to do them as a single pack since they share a lot of assets, and the texture maps are the same and they use the same tenders etc.

Along with the Class 6, 7, 8, and 9F, I also included a semi-fictional '8F' 2-8-2, based on the Class 7 - a design which Robert Riddles had proposed before he eventually designed the 9F.

The Class 8 has animated Caprotti drive as well, as a fun little bonus. It's not as flashy as Walschaerts, but the camshafts spin. So that's fun.

Otherwise the usual bells and whistles are included. Colour tinting, aging, assets and so on.

Enjoy!

Features

-BR Standards in 5 different models, 4 tender variants and 4 liveries.
-Liveries include BR Green, BR Blue, BR Lined Black and BR Unlined Black.
-Full aging and recolour support. Detailed dirt and rust accumulates as the engine ages.
-Engines are sorted in depot menus to reduce purchase menu clutter.
-Small file size and .dds compressed textures, to help with load speed.
-Lods to reduce GPU load.
-Placeable rail assets (also with lods) allowing placement of the engine in all variants, as well as pre-aged placeables.
-Moddable engine numbers - edit the number of the train and the number will display on the side of the locomotive.
-Head and tail lamps change depending on direction.

For the Clans, the cab numbers are bugged. On one side they're always floating in the air between the cab and the tender.

Nice models, but the power figures are very unrealistic. For example the Class 9F "only" exerted about 1,118 kW (1,500 iHP) & 176 kN tractive effort at the Rugby test plant and on line test runs.

Any chance of genericising these loco's like your generic loco pack? The blue livery is very nice, but suddenly having BR on the tender after having blank tenders for decades is a bit jarring.

Very nice, looking forward to whatever you make next and good luck at your new job.

@Shadow_AI: I recently started a new job, so my content's probably going to slow down for a bit in the short term, but there's a pretty decent list of potential projects I'm looking at. Some of the smaller Standards come to mind, Thompson and Peppercorn Pacifics come to mind. But also some more generic coaches as well.

Loves the standard classes. Any plans to do the smaller ones?

AH! I see what it is now. The number appears to be attached to the tender rather than the boiler/cab... so the number pivots with the tender so it disappears when the locomotive takes a bend.

Great mod, love the 9F, however the dynamic numbers seem to be off on it. They seem too far over to the right hand side. So on one side they are floating in mid air and the other they aren't there at all; presumably buried in the cab.

Going to have to start a new game in about 1900 to make use of all the great locos being released lately

Lovely mod and lovely models as always.
The 8F however is listed in the menus as a 4-6-2, not a 2-8-2
