Description
East Asian Clothes Patch
Korean commander hats, compatibility for Western Clothes: Redux, and more!

Overview
EACP is a submod for blue0china's East Asian Clothes mod that primarily adds compatibility with the Western Clothes: Redux mod. WIth all three mods installed, China, Tibet, Korea, and Vietnam will receive the custom character and pop clothes from EAC whilst retaining the ability to trade those outfits for western ones through WCR.

EACP also patches a few bugs with EAC, including the lack of special commander hats for Korean commanders.

With EACP, you get:
EAC working in 1.5+
• Compatibility with WCR, allowing China, Tibet, Korea, and Vietnam to start the game with their new clothes properly when using WCR.
• Chinese, Tibetan, Korean, and Vietnamese commanders will dress more similarly to officer pops instead of wearing scholar clothing.
• Tibetan characters and pops no longer start off wearing bowlers and other western hats.
• Chinese emperors wear their yellow clothing from vanilla again, and their hat can be adjusted with a game rule.
• Fixes Korean generals and admirals not receiving the iconic jeollip hat while Korea is not westernized.
• Fixes Chinese soldiers and officers pops reverting to fallback clothes when China switches to a republic.
• Vietnamese officer pops will wear the cloth headbands when Vietnam isn't a monarchy.
• Korean monarch clothing will change color after proclaiming the Korean Empire instead of when becoming independent.
• All characters and pops with topknots will stop wearing them upon westernizing.

As a submod, you are required to install both EAC and WCR alongside EACP for full functionality. This mod DOES NOT run standalone! Leaving out either one of the required mods may cause issues.

Loading Order
The recommended loading order is:
• Western Clothes: Redux
• East Asian Clothes
• East Asian Clothes Patch

EACP must come after/be placed under WCR and EAC.
WCR and EAC may be swapped around as long as EACP loads after both of them.
All three mods need not be directly adjecent to each other in your mod playset, but doing so may help ensure EACP is applied properly.

DLC Requirements
This mod does not rely on any DLC features, so you should not need any DLCs.

Languages
Localization is for game rules text and nothing else.
• English
• Chinese (credit: Helly0000 / Meishashier)

Mod Compatibility
If you are using the Business Casual Eliminator mod, put EACP above (closer to the top than) BCE in your playset.

-----

EACP may have compatibility issues with mods that change clothes, hairstyles, or hats besides EAC.

EACP is designed in a manner that should not break mods that add character or pop clothing in a similar non-colliding manner (be aware that many older clothing mods don't), but conflicts may still arise.

All other mods should be compatible. Please consult both EAC and WCR's workshop pages for more compatibility details.

Permissions
YES, you may include this mod in any modpacks/collections/whatever.

While chasing down a different bug reported to me over Discord, I realized that I forgot to update the gene definitions. This is important since from a Vic3 technical perspective, all clothing is just un-inheritable genes.

My guess is that the naked Chinese emperors were just an unlucky roll where the new Vietnamese king clothing from the base game that got added is being used since the portrait modifier for Chinese emperor clothing in EACP never got updated accordingly, and I'm assuming EAC is somehow fucking up the new clothes, causing nothing to appear (and thus leaving them naked).

I haven't seen anything related to the Shah but I'm gonna hope the root cause of the issue is the same and that it magically gets fixed alongside the rest of the stuff when the update is pushed.

I don't have any problems with the first Chinese emperor either. 🤔

Was there a specific Shah you had when you saw that happen? I've wrapped up what I was working on this month so I've started looking into this, and I don't see anything immediately wrong

Thanks for the specific examples; I'll check those out when I have the opportunity.

Hey, thanks for the mod. I have been using it for a bit lately and am encountering the same issue with "naked asians". Two specific cases I can think of: In any game I load, the first chinese emperor will be naked, with an emaciated stick-bug body. Future heirs may or may not be affected by this, I have seen both occuring. When I westernized as Iran, everyone had normal uniforms, except for the reigning Shah, who was nude (with a normal model, not stick-bugged like the Emperor of China). It was kinda funny, because I made him my first choice for naval invasions into new colonies and the emperor not having clothes and all.

You're going to have to be like 10000 times more specific

What kind of Asians? Which country? Is that country westernized? Are they characters? What kind of role do they have? Or are they pops? What kind of pops?
