How to increase internet speed?
By лук ⫍ ⃢ ⫎
Step 1: Check your internet speed

Before you start optimizing your internet speed, it's important to know how slow or fast your current connection is. You can use online speed test services like Speedtest.net. Be sure to do a few checks throughout the day to make sure the results are the same.

Step 2: Update your drivers

Make sure you have the latest drivers for your network card. Drivers provide communication between your network card and the operating system. Outdated drivers can cause slow internet speeds.

To update drivers:

Right-click on the Start button and select Devices and Printers.

Find your network card and right click on it. Select "Properties".

Select the "Driver" tab and click on the "Update Driver" button.

If you have the driver file, select "Browse my computer for drivers". If not, select "Search automatically for updated driver software".

After the driver installation process is complete, restart your computer.

Step 3: Optimize network card settings

The next step is to configure the network card for maximum performance.

Right-click on the Start button and select Device Manager.

Expand the "Network adapters" section and find your network card.

Right-click on your network card and select "Properties".

Select the "Advanced" tab.

Find the "Speed & Duplex" option and select "100 Mbps Full Duplex".

Step 4Disable unnecessary programs

Programs running in the background can slow down the speed of the Internet, especially if they use network resources. Disable unnecessary programs to free up the resources of your network card.

Press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open Task Manager.

Go to the "Processes" tab and find programs that use the Internet.

Right-click on such a program and select End Task.

Repeat this process for all unnecessary programs.

Step 5: Change your browser settings

Some browser settings can affect internet speed. Change your settings to make your pages load faster.

Open your browser.

Click on the "Settings" icon.

Change your browser settings to optimize performance, such as turning off image loading or installing an ad blocker.

Step 6Use System Optimizers

Some system optimization programs can help speed up your computer and internet.

Download a system optimizer like CCleaner or Advanced SystemCare.

Run the program and perform system optimization.

After optimization is complete, restart your computer.

Step 7: Update your modem and router

Finally, check if your modem and router are up to date. Updates can improve your network and internet performance.

Open a web browser.

Enter your router's IP address in the address bar. This is usually 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1.

Enter the router settings using your username and password.

Locate the "Software Update" or "Settings" section.

Click the Update button to update your modem and router.

After completing all these steps, your internet speed should improve. If it doesn't improve, you can contact your ISP to see if they have any problems with your connection.
