Sorry for asking but I assume I am missing something here and I am curious what it is. Seems like it should be obvious but I just don't get it.

To what end? I mean you can have an orbit as low or high as you want as long as you don't lose the SOI. How is that relative to the control pods at those specific altitudes?

The top three are fairly simple to understand. The bottom two make absolutely no sense to me. What are they trying to indicate for each probe core?
