The Schofield

Description
This is a Beaux-Arts high-rise building located in Cleveland, Ohio. It was built in 1902 as an office building. In the 1960s it suffered a major "renovation", all its decorative elements were hidden behind steel panels and it turned into a boring modernist building. Its original appearance was restored in 2016, and now it serves as mixed-use hotel and residential building.

This is a level 5 high density residential growable set consisting of 4 buildings

About this asset
I divided it into 4 parts: 2 corners, 1 straight and 1 angled part. They are partially aligned to the grid, but you need MoveIt to get best results. You can combine different parts as you wish and make large full-block apartment buildings.
Yes, this building is very red, but you can recolor it using Repaint. All textures are shared, so no need to worry about size. This building has tons of decorative elements, I tried to recreate as much as possible, it was a lot of fun to make them. Hope you like the result.

Thanks for the reply, Cateinum. I always zone with every possible combination of lot sizes, but for corners I mostly use 4x4. I've noticed that the two buildings I'm not getting are the ones for corners, so I'll try more 3x2, 2x3 and 3x3 at corners ans see what happens. Thanks.

@Aldurander Perhaps you don't have enough suitable lots (2x2, 2x3, 3x3) for them with high land values. Some of the buildings can spawn only in corners.

I love it, but just one thing. I've been playing for a while, but only two buildings are ever built, the piece with the curved end, and the middle piece with the two roof fans (air conditioners?). Anyway, I looked at the folder with the assets, and all 5 are in there. What could be happening?

I thank that can help you to make some Cleveland asset.

@Miamicop I don't think any of these exist in CS, which is a shame

Really nice! Just what I needed, I've been building Cleveland for 4 months now, roadsign to building, shoreline to highway, and this is a really needed asset to my collection! I am curious if the Key Tower, Terminal Tower, Huntington Bank, US Bank Center, and the playhouse archway exists anywhere?

Oh man thanks very much I thought I was going mental lol. I kept making roads to try to snap that 4th piece together at every angle and it just refused to play nice.

Again, thanks for this one. Really adds some color and height to a downtown area without going overboard.

@The Blood Eagle You only need 3 pieces - the sharp corner on the left, the staright piece in the middle and the 135 degree corner on the right. And they snap perfectly to the grid in this combination. The 4th piece (rounded 90 degree corner) was added just for more versatility

Lol I love this building. Maybe my favorite set of building assets for how nicely they make one modular building.

But trying to fit all of the pieces together to make the real life version is making my brain hurt lol. Both angled pieces seem to only fit on one side. I'd LOVE to see a screenshot of someone who has them all snapped together right lol.
