How to do a legitimate no hide run (that's right - no hacks.)
By (un)HolyEvelyn
This guide is how I got my no-run achievement, because there legitimately is no help out there.

FYI, this isn't going to hold your hand through every sequence, just a rundown on what you should do and focus on difficult parts (at least parts I found difficult!)

Hopefully you guys can use this too!

So, you're trying to get the Hide and Seek Master achievement? Feeling scared though? Rely on hiding spots just a bit too much, and didn't bother to use the post 6AM game to practice not hiding? Then this guide is for you!!!

NOTE: We will not be doing a walkthrough of the game, although I will add sections that dive deep into 3AM and 5AM, as well as what I can recommend for 4AM. 11:30-2AM is rather simple, standard gameplay, and 6AM on is optional. Let's get right into it!
Quick Tips!
THERE IS NOTHING IN DEPTH, BUT SPOILERS REGARDLESS JUST IN CASE!

No idea where to start? Start here!

  • FREDDY IS YOUR FRIEND! At least that's what he says whenever you destroy his eyeballs. But for real, Freddy doesn't count as a hiding spot! USE HIM!
  • The pre-12AM game doesn't count. That's right, you can go ahead and freely hide in that First Aid thingy. Vanessa chewing out Frederick Fazbearington IX won't affect this score.
  • If you can hide in it - DO NOT. Unless it's Freddy (on that - you can actually use Recharge Stations to quickly summon Freddy after 3AM. DO THIS.)
  • LINE. OF. SIGHT. If you can turn a corner while being chased - DO IT. You'd be surprised how ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid they are.
  • FIZZY FAZ. Collect them. PREFERABLY ALL OF THEM. 3 will be enough, though.
  • RUNNING SHOES AND HOODIE. Yes, these are late game items. STILL COLLECT THEM. Running shoes increase running speed, hoodie makes you harder to see. So get them asap.
  • The S.T.A.F.F. bots cannot hear. You can run through them, just watch the lights.
  • Sound is important, and those animatronics love making it. Let them scream and shout - they give themselves away.
  • 2AM: Docks: Just sneak past Chica, play the office minigame, and leave for the laundry room. Preferably quickly. Prize Counter: During the Office Minigame, there should be two containers outside the office. As of writing this guide, you can stand on them and the animatronics will never enter the room. This is due to the game not recognizing Gregory as in the Office (you shouldn't be able to be on top of these bins) and as such, the animatronics don't receive the order to enter. They will after the minigame, so stay put! Wait for Roxanne to pass by, then you should be good. No hiding spot needed but you did technically hide without it being flagged in the game!

That's all I can think of, now we move on to 3AM.
3AM - The Doctor Who Endoskeletons!
BIG BAD SPOILERS

These ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ things. The Weeping Endoskeletons. It's rather simple, you just run through, hide, press the buttons, hide, wait for them to pass by, aaaaaaaaaand...

you can't hide. Right. So what did I do?

The Endoskeletons can be... bothersome. But I was able to beat them in 1 go.

Just run. Seriously. That's what I did.

OK, it isn't ALL I did, but it was damn near close to what I did. Seriously, sprinting through and occasionally checking behind you works a stunning amount. Inevitably, you will be trapped in a room with 2 frozen Endos watching you. What should you do?

This is a petrifying decision, because either could cause death. So, what should you do??

You can either:
  • Look away real quick to get them to move, and hopefully by drawing them closer to you it creates an opening for escape. Try to keep your eyes on them.
  • IF YOU CAN DO THIS PLEASE DO THIS INSTEAD! Break Line of Sight (the Gregory icon will be yellow!) and look away. The Endos will begin their search for you by following their path, and if you're lucky, they'll ♥♥♥♥ off, and you can slip by them. Remember to look at them to create a LOT of distance!

Good note, never go between 2 Endos. One will kill you while the other watches, slackjaw and wall-eyed. Move entirely around both of them to 173 them.

AS MENTIONED BY killerethernet: You can, as of the time this guide is published, hide under tables and conveyor belts to LoS the Endos, and if I had known that I would've probably opted to do that instead. That said, you COULD just run through the entire section but it will take a LOT more finesse than breaking Line of Sight. If you choose to haphazardly run through, please do so only after you've either watched Markiplier's playthrough 20 times or have played through the story once yourself, as knowing the layout of this part of the map significantly helps you do the run through. If you're unfamiliar with the area and rely on the map a lot, definitely hide whenever possible, just make sure you don't hide in any of the bins.

I should also point this out, since I failed to at the initial time of writing the guide: The part where you collect your badge. So, if you have done your playthrough, you know the strategy here is to run, hide, wait, and run. Unfortunately, you can only hide in the bin outside the room the badge is in, and that voids the run. What you have to do here is press the button and IMMEDIATELY gun it for the door (practice a few times to make sure you know where to go and how fast you can get there. You need to be there before the endos wake up). As of writing this amendment to the guide, the endos will not reach you in time for the door to open up. Get the ♥♥♥♥ out of there. The escape vent will be close by. Be aware once you go through the vent to fix Freddy's head, the Tutorial Endo is still out there, and he can and will jump you if you forget about him (I definitely do not know from experience).
4AM - Montiferus Golfing or Destroying Chica's Throat?
SPOILERS AHEAD. REALLY THOUGH, PLEASE JUST PLAY A NORMAL RUN FIRST, GET A LAY OF THE MAP. WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS ON YOUR FIRST RUN???

4AM rolls around. I get it fellas. It's very tempting to destroy the chicken's throat. Keep it in your pants, I actually recommend going after Monty this time. Yeah, tricky boss fight, ooo, scary, but get over it for now, because for this run it's actually far easier to do no hiding. So, why go after the gator?

  • FAZCAM. It's the superior weapon.
  • Monty is a jackass, taking him out now makes the whole game easier.
  • You're getting the bad ending, so you don't need to unlock the Vanny endings.

But the main reason, everyone?

HIDING IN THIS FIGHT IS POINTLESS. You cannot ♥♥♥♥ this up.

IGN's guide is pretty helpful here, so use that. Just remember not to hide in anything besides Frederick.

But if you want that chicken throat, fine, be stubborn and make the game hard. I'm not holding your hand for 5AM though, that's on you.

To get that chicken throat:
  • Line of Sight Chica after getting the Montiferus Mix
  • Chica loves that garbage, so just sneak around her. Get that mix on that conveyor belt, then smack that button
  • Retrieve the throat from the throat goat, and immediately run. Distract her and sneak by, or just run around a circle. Either way, just avoid her for the duration. Use your stupid Fazer Blaster to maybe stun her 20% of the time if necessary. You will be seen eventually. K E E P R U N N I N G.

That should be it. Onto DJ Music Man.
5AM - My Favorite Child Murderer!
...you got this far in the guide. do you really care about spoilers?

Fun fact: DJMM makes his own original songs for every activity he does. This means that while he's on his way to commit gruesome child murder, he's creating the best selling and hardest track to ever exist in the history of Fazbear Entertainment. Just let this settle in :)

This guide is for if you decommissioned Montiferus. If you decided to chase the Chicken Throat, good luck :D

Monty is now disabled, meaning he can't jump for you, so good thing we don't have to worry about him! Chica is still loud enough to hear, but you can slip by her. So really, just sneak past the S.T.A.F.F. Bots. Get to that office, and if you for some reason are playing for the Vanny endings in this same run, then by all means make it harder on yourself and go play the PQII game! Anyway, now we have to deal with DJMM. Slip on back down, and flip that switch.

SPRINT TO THE BATHROOM to hit the first switch, and hang by the left door. If you hang by the right door, it'll cause a game breaking glitch that causes DJMM to eternally reach into the right door, so while you'll be absolutely safe, you'll be softlocked. When DJMM reaches that giant ass hand through the LEFT door, gun it for the right and immediately continue running.

Don't bother sneaking about - DJMM knows your location, and HE'S your biggest threat now. Monty is crawling around, so don't forget him, but don't worry too greatly! Hit the first floor switch, and make a run for the stairs. Use the FazCam conservatively, it only has one charge, and there's a bigger threat waiting for you upstairs.

Again, don't sneak unless you want to be vored by DJMM. If Chica finds you, flash her and run, Line of Sight her when possible. Hit the second floor switch. Go back to the hall with the security room.

Go down that long ass hallway, and save your sprint juice. Hit that bad boy, and let the cinematic play out. This ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ will throw things at you, so START RUNNING. Only stop while your stamina is low, and as soon as you have enough regained, P L E A S E CONTINUE TO R U N. Don't bother doing anything that isn't going into the Security Office. Collect your head and leave.

If you're gift hunting, wait until the Post 6AM game. Freddy doesn't get ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boogie-bombed by DJMM during the Post 6AM game, so it's much safer to hunt collectibles then, and none of them are missable here.

Take wolf mommy's eyes, and proceed to parts and service to rob them.
6AM and After: What to Do?
To make achievement hunting easier, make sure to do this step first.

The game creates an automatic save at 6AM, so just head for the door in Freddy. Best route is by going back up the Atrium Elevator, go to the entrance elevator on the second floor, then make a run for the door. I don't believe Freddy runs out of power here, however Moon will attack at 5:57AM, so don't linger.

Just leave. Yeah, yeah, bad ending, just do it.

Now, Post 6AM, surely I have to sneak about still right?

...no. Now you're free to hide wherever and whenever. I recommend the Chica Throat fight now, because you can utilize hiding spots. You also need every upgrade to get every gift and bag, so if you're doing that in the same save, it's wise to do it once Freddy is completely upgraded. On that note, there is one save station in the Atrium, after you go through the elevator from the entrance. Use this wisely. Now go collect, and get your 100% Achievements!

This guide is awesome. I followed this guide through and through, and I got it. (though i accidentally hid sometimes.) I did go for the getaway van ending though, since that one's better.

Commander, i did one run with all possible endings except VIP (I missed one of the two missable gifts) and one where I no hid. Due to the nature of this guide, you can absolutely do that, but before you do it please get the bad end, it'll get you the achievement.

Bluey I also had to do this without a guide, I think personally Roxanne's boss battle was the hardest part because she kept hearing me lol

Is it wise to do a no hide & a run where you can do all of the endings easily in one single game, or do it over two different games? As I want to get practically everything in the game but not make it overly hard if it's wiser to do a no hide & the setup for an all ending run as two separate games.

That makes sense, since the base game typically revives you at the last point you manually saved, erasing the progress (and blunders) made before you got caught.

well I intentionally game over'd myself to go back faster to this save and I got it by doing so.
