The Torn Treasure Map

The Torn Treasure Map will be found in two separate pieces. The reward for solving it is Otis Miller's revolver. To collect Torn Treasure Maps, you have to find two Hermits, each one contains one half of a treasure map. One important thing, you can find this treasure later in the game, during the Epilogue, as it is located in New Austin.

The First Part of Torn Treasure Map

To find the first part of the map, you have to travel north of Annesburg. It is located in Manito Glade. Now Hermit man will not be much friendly and he will shout at you and threaten to shoot at you, so be careful as one shot can kill you. Anyway, you can kill him or hogtie him, do whatever you want and collect from him also Rare Shotgun. Once you deal with him, you can find part of the map in his hut in the drawers beside the bed.

The Second Part of Torn Treasure Map

The second part of the map can be found in small hut, northeast of West Elizabeth. It is located at the end of Little Creek River, on the right side, in the woods. Again, you will not be welcome and Hermit woman will threaten you and send her three dogs to attack you. Do what you have to do and the other half of the map can be found inside her home in the drawers. Arthur also writes about her in his journal saying "Think I may have met a witch, or a woman who wanted to be one."

Location of the Treasure and Reward

Now that you have the pieces of the map, go to New Austin. Northwest of Armadillo, near Rattlesnake Hollow, you will see a small cave entrance. Inside, you will find a wooden box containing the Otis Miller’s revolver and six erotic photographs.
