THE MUTE BUTTON!!! and how to use it

This guide will show you what the mute button is and how to use it properly

What is the mute button?

The mute button is actually a menu which can be found by going into the pause menu and clicking on the ear icon along the bottom of the screen. the mute menu allows players to mute other players who are using the voice chat for any reason, the mute button only mutes the player you want muted for yourself, so others will still be able to hear them if they have not muted them.

How to use the Mute button

Now surprisingly not many know what this menu is or how to use it, so i will list it out very simply in bullet points.

- Press Esc to bring up the main menu while connected to a server.
- Click the mute players icon at the bottom of the screen.
- Scroll to the name of the desired player.
- Highlight their name.
- Click Mute in-game voice, or double-click their name.

when these steps are completed the player you want to mute should no longer be heard by you in game, meaning that they have been muted

KICK BOTS, NOT DJs

Now im sure we have all been in a match where there has been a bot spamming in the voice chat a song or some hate speech, well we kick them as per the usual, but sometimes there will be a random player who wants to play music for their team in the server, and they can just be labelled as bots even if they have been communicating with their team before they started playing music. Please do not kick the people who are not bots and are just playing music, use the mute menu to mute them so you dont have to listen to their music if you dont like it.
