Activision account and online connection

You need an activision account for any modes of new CoD games. This include Campaign, Multiplayer, Coop, Zombies. Online connection is required.

Can i transfer CP from Battlenet to Steam?

CP is platform only. You can't transfer your CP from Battlenet to Steam but you can spend them to bundle packs or purchase a battle pass for supported Call of Duty games from Battlenet or Steam:

->Call of Duty HQ: MW II, MW III, Black Ops 6

Bundles and Battle Pass purchased carry over between platforms( Steam to Battlenet and vice versa).

what happened to warzone 2019 and Verdansk ? can i transfer my warzone 2019 items to warzone 2024?

Warzone 1 (2019) servers are shutdown. so Verdansk is gone with it. You can't transfer Warzone 2019 items to Warzone (2024).

MW19 battle pass and store bundles?

Battle pass section is removed. Battle pass rewards are exclusive to battle pass and can only be redeem by completing the battle pass like in other games. Store bundles is still here. You can purchase them with CP.

Can I transfer my battlenet MW19 to Steam for free?

For now you can't transfer your MW19 from battlenet to Steam for free. You need purchase and own MW19 on Steam.

Game won't startup and crash

Important: if your game keep crashing, to avoid game crash, download all files of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2019 to be safe.

AMD USERS

If your game won't startup, you can downgrade your AMD drivers to an older version or use new driver if you are not up to date.

NVIDIA Users

You need to update your drivers from GeForce Experience and use new drivers. in some cases you may downgrade your NVIDIA drivers but it is not necessary at all.

Intel Users

You need to update your drivers from Intel® Driver & Support Assistant. Your processor need to be up to date. it is very rare to downgrade an Intel driver.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Remastered UDT Reward

Warning: You need check if the rewards are platform exclusive. read mw2 Remastered store information or contact activation support for more information.

Technically talking, your purchases made with any platforms are spread to each other while using same Activision account linked/connected to your platforms. Only CP is platform exclusive and some specific rewards for some platforms. if the UDT bundle is platform exclusive, if you are concerned about the situation, do not take serious this writen section of the guide.
if you are concerned, you can use this writen section of the guide:

You can receive a UDT Bundle of Ghost by purchasing Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Remastered. if you purchased MW 2 Remastered on Battlenet and Modern Warfare 2019 on Steam you still get your UDT bundle if your unique Activision account is linked to your both Battlenet and Steam accounts. if you encounter a bug like you don't receive your UDT bundle, you may need to download MW 2 Remastered and run it, play it, for about 5-10 minutes to trigger the activation of UDT bundle on your activision account. This method can be used in other games and rewards too,it will work. if you still didn't get your bundle, you need to contact Activision support on their website, here a keyword link for your search engine, copy/paste it, activision/support.

friend list bug

The game has some steam friend list bug and won't run if you have 250+ friends. You need to have 249 or less friends in your steam friend list to run the game. it is a bug.

@matan,no problem. Since the new call of duty games are arrived on steam, i use only steam. You are right, everything once activated, no matter platform(steam, Battlenet, PSN, XBOX) you can use items everywhere. It is about activation, not platforms, some items are platform exclusive, that we can do nothing, people need to read all informations before doing something wrong.... take care mate.

@Faith, you can't transfer CP between platforms. you need spend CP on other platform and you can use items everywhere. i mention it on my guide, if you read it.

OK GUYS!!! So, if you bought MW19 on steam and didn't get the UDT Ghost boundle after you purchased MW2 remastered don't worry. Just Download MW19 from battle.net and make sure you have the right account connected. It worked for me. Also guys thanks for the help earlier!!

@matan, it is not MW19, it is maybe warzone 2019. try it, maybe it will work but be careful you may not able to go to main menu because warzone 2019 is shutdown. Just search on internet or download and try if you have good internet connection.

What if I download MW19 from battle.net even though I don't have it there(for some reason I can acually download it), will I get the skin?

You actually cant get the UDT bundle on Steam, I just emailed activision support about it and they closed my ticket when I asked as their last email said "Our specialized department has reviewed your case. Unfortunately, the reward is platform exclusive. You need to download the COD MW 2019 on Battle.net because the reward from the COD MW 2 remastered is in Battle.net only." so unless you gotta buy mw19 on battle net too to get ghost on the steam version then there isnt a way it looks so i just refunded the campaign

I have my acounts linked I contacted activision support but I haven't played MW2 since I got MW19 so I'll check it out.
