Nope, you can only join ARC if you went to Aetoria as soon as possible. As for the factory, there is no special benefit at least in Lords, maybe in Wars?

Question: can you become a member of the ARC without being in Aetoria for the first half of the game? I have completed multiple play-throughs of being in the Cortes so far (love your guides btw, so thank you so much for this), but I haven't yet embarked upon one where I stay in my fief.

I ask because I want to be absolutely sure Garing gets his inventions accepted by the commission for the next game, but I'd still like to experiment with the possibility of not being a true lord of the cortes as well. As such, as I asked, is it possible? And speaking of, is there any special benefit to having a factory while being invested with Garing? Based upon what I've read in your guides and elsewhere I'm getting the feeling there isn't, but I hesitate to spend another while getting to that point only to learn my time was for naught.

Well, there are plans... but as I'm a royalist and 12b is complex as hell, it will not be done any time soon, sorry.

Thanks for the amazing guides, these have all been extremely helpful. I will ask though, any plans on making a Wulframite battle guide for chapters 11 and 12? I'm unsure if I've missed it or if another one of your guides will suffice, I was just curious and would really appreciate one. Still thank you for going through the effort or writing up so much and in such detail!
