State Trait Rework by JohnBrown

Description
JohnBrown's State Traits Expanded by snekchelly Rework

This mod is meant to be played with VFM. Please load VFM first in load order, followed by this mod. This also fixes the arable land values in VFM, as I felt they were random and not well balanced. Thus arable lands are reverted back to vanilla levels. This mod will likely not work without VFM, as provinces change in VFM and thus my mod for compatibility purposes.

This mod is also integrated in the Babylon RP Mod. This mod was made to be used for multiplayer roleplay sessions on the Babylon server, and includes a long list of changes, including new techs, naval rework and more! While made for MP/RP, the mod is still very good for singleplayer purposes as well. You can find it here. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2908619884

Many thanks to snekchelly for OG base mod, Taylor for State traits in Australia and New Zealand, and to Fallonar & Ahoskova for regional historical research.

Mission: Expand upon ‘State Traits Expanded by snekchelly’ to:
Add more flavor to regions and countries
More accurately represent geographical, climate, and biome differences
Major focus on accurately modeling the importance of major waterways in transportation/trade through infrastructure buffs
Balance existing state traits from vanilla
Incentivize players/autonomous AI to build more logically/historically through modifiers that are realistic and interesting
Create higher viability for agrarian/agricultural playstyles/economies

Apologies everyone. This mod will not be updated independently, but will be updated within the Babylon RP mod, which is linked above. Sorry everyone!

is there a list of the changes made compared to base VFM?

Appreciated!

Likely because VFM updated yes. I will have to push an update tonight hopefully if I have the time.

it's currently not working, might be since VFM have been updated?

Really like the mod thou!

@Hashirama Have you tried loading VFM 1st in load order, followed by my mod? My mod needs to be last in load order to ensure the state traits and arable land is properly applied.

Would it be possible for me to just move the files from your mod over to the VFM file? Or would that screw with too much?

Don't worry about it, I actually like VFM so far. Still haven't gotten this mod to work with it though. I tried it with just VFM and state traits, as well as with my other mods, and it didn't work either time. I'm assuming it's an issue on my end because I was using this mod with vanilla just fine before the update.

My apologies everyone. This is my first modding experience, so I am learning/teaching myself as I go. Next time I will be sure to hold an older version next time.

In regards to VFM, the decision to make it compatible with VFM was due to my mod being integrated into the Babylon RP mod, which required me to make my mod VFM compatible. If you guys would like, feel free to use the version Changeling linked to. If someone would like to take that code and upload a mod that isnt meant for VFM, feel free to do so as long as I am credited.

Sorry again folks.
