Description
This is a Diesel-Electric 3-Axle locomotive used by WGSN railways that is connected to a slug. It can pull a heavy train thanks to the slug's assistance. It will function properly with the physics quality set to 1.

The locomotive's design is inspired by European switcher locomotive designs.

Uses 1 mod: Engineer's Toolbox. The mod is in the required items list.

Controls:

W: Forward
S: Reverse
1: Front Headlights
2: Rear Headlights
3: Front Red Lights
4: Rear Red Lights
5: Horn
6: Bell
7: Cabin Door
8: Warning Lights
9: Extra Lighting

Connected to the DE-3 is a 3-axle "slug" type locomotive.

Slug locomotives are used to increase the traction of another locomotive. In real life, the slug has no engine and is provided electricity by the paired locomotive instead. They are mostly used in yards to move huge and heavy consists around.

Here's how to pair it with another locomotive:

Step 1: Connect the slug to the desired locomotive.

Step 2: Connect the slug's engine to the locomotive's driver's seat.

Step 3: Get on the roof of the slug to access the engine, then change it's power level as needed.

IMPORTANT: The slug had a defined front and back end. The front end is marked by the arrow signs on both sides. The slug and paired locomotive must be facing the same direction for the slug to function properly.

This slug has headlights and step lighting on each end. They can be turned on by the nearby switches.

Some advice / notes:

Adjustable Engine Power: The level 5 gas engine that powers this locomotive is under and next to the driver seat, where you can access it. You can change the engine's power level for when you are hauling a heavy train. Keep in mind that you will also have to adjust the engine on the slug. The slug's engine is located on the roof.

Emergency Braking: In the case of an emergency that requires the train to stop, simply get out of the seat. This will cause the wheels to lock up, stopping the train faster than remaining in the seat and pressing the movement control opposite of your current direction of travel.

Enjoy!
