Better Humanoid Mechanoid

This mod adds a series of humanoid mechanoids at the Ultra Mechtech tier. These so-called CN-series mechs have higher effective skill levels for their respective work types and carry stronger weaponry. They tend to fill multiple roles at once, and are all capable of hauling and cleaning.

Of note is that each mech has a variant graphic when drafted, letting you see their lovely faces in peacetime.



Perhaps the most intriguing part of the CN-series mechs, though, are their occasional glimmers of personhood...


The diligent mechanoid maid cooks, cleans, hauls and flips switches until her mechanitor has nothing left to do. In times of need, she fights selflessly with her charge pistol.



Patients of the mechanoid nurse benefit from both her mechanical efficiency and warm, soothing presence. All the same, her scalpel cuts into raiders far less pleasantly.



The standoffish centiplus has the durability of a centipede while boasting superior firepower. Those who earn her trust earn her support.



Wielding her deadly longsword, the mechanoid swordmaiden tears into enemy lines with an unusual pep. She even boasts a built-in shield pack and longjump ability.


As biomechanical beings, the CN-series mechs must be gestated in a special gestator that requires human meat, human leather and a new kind of subcore created at the subcore encoder. Reviving them also costs human meat and human leather.
