The problem
If you've used a monitoring tool to measure your game's FPS and VRAM usage, you've probably found a strange behavior: the game uses too much vram when using DirectX 12, so you decide to use DirectX 11 instead to fix the problem (even though you unfortunately lose dlss and ray tracing).

And then a new problem arises, a bunch of weird texture and lightning effects starts to appear at random areas on the game, like this one:

How to fix it
This is simply a bug introduced in the most recent NVIDIA drivers, and to solve it you need to downgrade it.

  1. Go to NVIDIA's advanced driver search site[www.nvidia.com]
  2. Select the options that refer to your graphics card
  3. Download the oldest driver you can pick
  4. Have fun :)
