Cheaper University

Ever thought that the cost of university is ridiculous in CK3? Especially early game for the universities that already exist at game start. This simple mod reduces the cost to a maximum of 500 gold so your average emperor can afford to send their children to his own university.

If you want you can reduce the cost further or remove it completely by going to your steam folder (usually you can get there by right clicking ck3 in steam, pressing properties > local files > browse) then going to steamapps/workshop/content/1158310/2934378444 then find the only file that the mod changes 01_interaction_effects and remove or change the lines "remove_short_term_gold = major_gold_value"

For reference:
tiny_gold_value is max 50 gold

minor_gold_value is max 150 gold

medium_gold_value is max 300 gold

major_gold_value is max 500 gold

massive_gold_value is max 750

and the default monumental_gold_value is max 1500
