Introduction
The Seal the Deal DLC adds a new chapter, new time rifts, and death wishes. Death wishes present challenges, challenge versions of levels, new levels, and more sass from your friend Snatcher. This update added a lot of cosmetics and optional challenges for those seeking such challenges. However, the simple truth is that:

Most players will want to play the majority of death wishes with Peace and Tranquility enabled.

Unlocking PT
All you have to do is die several times while attempting a death wish to unlock peace and tranquility for that death wish, and the easiest way to die is to manually reset from the menu. (Exception: for boss rush death wishes, it seems you need to die a certain number of times after beating the first boss).
Enabling PT and Its Effects
Once you have unlocked PT for a death wish, you can pay 77 pons to make the death wish easier. How the death wish becomes easier can include increased health drops, self-healing, making things move slower, providing more time, etc. PT is uniquely catered to each death wish. Side note: once you enable PT on any death wish, you don't have to watch the full version of the PT dance again for any others.
What Can PT Do?
PT can do a lot of things, but there are a few things it can't do.

PT Can:
  • Provide all 3 death wish stamps for the death wish
  • Unlock other death wishes
  • Unlock cosmetics and badges
  • Unlock achievements
  • Be enabled or disabled at any time
  • Help you practice a death wish you would like to complete without PT

PT Cannot
  • Help with death wish candles
  • Allow you to see or track progress towards individual portions of the death wish
  • Guarantee a clear on the death wish (as Snatcher would say: "get good, kid").
  • Make Snatcher go away (the contract did say best friends forever).
Should I Use PT?
This is completely up to you, and the nice thing is that you can make the choice for each death wish. A lot of the earlier ones are not that hard to get without PT, and there are good guides out there for beating the death wishes. The thing to keep in mind is that there are some really hard death wishes; quite a few of them are notably harder than anything else in the game, even with PT enabled. PT is less like enabling god mode and more like doubling the amount of mistakes you can make while still succeeding. It all comes down to the amount of time you want to put in and how much of a challenge you want.
I Want PT, But I Already Got a Stamp
You've done the hard part! There is actually a small exploit with this. If you already have one or two stamps without PT, you don't actually have to complete the death wish again to make it count for all three stamps. All you have to do is either:
  • Enable PT from the death wish map, select play, and then save and exit to hub.
  • Enable PT while playing the death wish, and then save and exit to hub.
Side note: if you are trying to use this method on your last uncompleted death wish, it will not trigger the "I Refuse to Die" achievement. You will have to reset your progress on a death wish and complete it again for the achievement to trigger. "She Speedran From Outer Space" is a quick one for this purpose.
I Used PT, But I Changed My Mind
If you decide later that you want to try to beat a death wish without the extra assistance, a few things will happen.

When you enable hard mode:
  • You will lose all death wish stamps earned for the death wish (this includes any earned without PT prior to using PT)
  • Death wishes unlocked by this death wish will become locked again (but progress towards those death wishes will not be lost)
  • You will be able to see and track progress towards each portion of the death wish
  • You can enable PT again at any time, but it will cost another 77 pons
In Conclusion...
I hope you enjoyed watching Hat Kid dance, and I hope you found the guide to be helpful. Leave a thumbs up if you did!
