Description
Make Your Clerks ( and drones) a Bit Less Useless

Clerk Policies

This mod provides an additional set of Policies based on your governing Ethics and select Civics that will enhance your Clerks so that they might feel a little less useless. They may have been useful before, but they're better with these!

As with any policies, you can only have one selected at any time, but you'll always have a few options to play around with!


Ethics Policies

Standard Procedure: No requirements. Clerks produce an additional +2 Amenities.

Corporate Procedure: Must be a Megacorp. Clerks produce an additional +1 Trade Value.

Ship Maintenance Logs: Must be Militarist. Clerks produce an additional +1 Naval Capacity.

Self Preservation Training: Must be Pacifist. Clerks produce an additional +.25 Stability.

Border Watch Duties: Must be Xenophobe. Clerks produce an additional +2 Planetary Defense Armies.

Outreach Programs: Must be Xenophile. Clerks produce an additional +1 Society Research

Local Ministries: Must be Spiritualist. Clerks produce an additional +1 Unity.

Ethics Committees: Must be Materialist. Clerks produce an additional +2% Leader Experience Gain.

Offices of Servitude: Must be Authoritarian. Clerks produce an additional +2% Worker Resource Output.

Offices of Employment: Must be Egalitarian. Clerks produce an additional +1% Specialist Resource Output.



Civic Policies

Efficient Procedure: Must have the Efficient Bureaucracy Civic. Clerks produce an additional +4 Amenities.

Noble Handlers: Must have the Aristocratic Elite Civic. Clerks produce an additional +3% Ruler Resource Output.

Prayers In Triplicate: Must have the Imperial Cult Civic. Clerks produce an additional +3 Edict Fund.

Forms 1 Through 1000: Must have the Byzantine Bureaucracy Civic. Clerks produce an additional -3% Upkeep from Jobs.

Deputy Duties: Must have the Police State Civic. Clerks produce an additional -2 Crime.

Pens to Plows: Must have the Agrarian Idyll Civic. Clerks produce an additional +3 Food.

Ballot Assessments: Must have the Idealistic Foundation Civic. Clerks produce an additional +.5% Happiness.

Licensing Agreements: Must have the Free Traders Civic. Clerks produce an additional +3 Energy.

On Every Corner: Must have the Trading Posts Civic. Clerks Produce an additional +5 Trade Value



Hive Mind Drone Controls

Variant Control: Must be a Hive Mind. Drones produce an additional 1 Amenity and 1 Unity.

Full Control: Must be a Hive Mind. Drones produce an additional 2 Amenities.

Loose Controls: Must be a Hive Mind. Drones produce an additional 1 Unity and .1 Pop. Assembly.

Assisted Cognition: Must have the Divided Attention Civic. Drones reduce empire size by 1%, while producing 1 less amenity.

Strengthened Drones: Must have the Strength of Legions Civic. Drones produce +2% Menial Drone output.

Showered Thoughts: Must have the Empath Civic. Drones increase Diplomatic Weight by 1%, while producing 2 fewer amenities.

Subsumed Drones: Must have the Cordyceptic Drones Civic. Drones produce .3 Pop. Assembly and 4 Crime while producing 3 fewer Amenities.



Machine Drone Controls

Basic Algorithms: Must be a MI. Drones produce an additional 2 Amenities.

Adaptive Algorithms: Must be a MI. Drones produce an additional 1 Amenity and 1 Unity.

Rigid Algorithms: Must be a MI. Drones produce an additional 2 Unity.

Up to Code: Must have the Constructobots Civic. Drones produce an additional 2% Build Speed.

Overclocked Drones: Must have the Factory Overclocking Civic. Drones produce an additional 5 Amenities..

Drilling Mods: Must have the Rockbreaker Civic. Drones produce an additional 1 Mineral and .25 Alloys while producing 2 fewer Amenities.

Analysis Modules: Must have the Static Research Analysis Civic. Drones produce .75 Physics, Society, and Engineering Research while producing 2 fewer Amenities.

A fresh game start with Trading Posts + changing to the On Every Corner policy confirmed the bug; the game shows the clerk output changing from "+3 TV" to "+6 TV", but if the mod description is correct, we should see clerks show "+8 TV" with On Every Corner.

Hi there, this is a good mod to make clerks useful, but I have noticed a problem:
For MegaCorp "On Every Corner", the mod description here says "+5 trade value", but the in-game effects text says "+3 trade value" instead. Perhaps this is a mixup with "Licensing Agreements"?

Just noticed that hivemind drone control doesn't do anything at all. Don't know about other things.

Crusaderjack- Huzzah, updated! Let me know if anything isn't working, I am looking into other issues mentioned here, but my attention is divided. What I tested worked though.

The hive mind assisted cognition policy tooltip says that it's amenity -2 instead of -1, and in effect doesn't seem to be providing any amenity when enacted? At least that's what it seemed like when one of my amenity -6 planet didn't become -4 when I forced a drone to become maintenance drone.
