Simple way to remove the map fog in Stormworks (Old)

Consequences

Your fps will not be affected by this change to the game files. These changes might cause game crashes.
When you are changing these settings you are modifying the game so if something messes up dont blame the developers.

Step 1

Step 2

Navigate to " C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Stormworks\rom\graphics\shaders "
Replace the downloaded file with the old file.

Step 3

Lauch Stormworks and set "View Distance" to 20,000 meters.

Everything is complete

In the shader file you could change values such transparency of fog and stuff. This changes the transparency somehow i think

@Mac and Cheese This was usefull before mods. Now if you want to remove the fog i recommend using Opal Shaders Mod. This worked by having you replace one of your shader game files to another file with different values. This was long ago so I dont remember which value it changed but something in Lightning file.

so could you explain exactly what you did to lets say remove it? (explain in detail pretty please i love it when its in detail :D)

This is old stuff, the new "Opal shader" is avaliable on the workshop as a mod that does this and much more. I'm guessing my modified file you downloaded no longer work.

Don't worked loaded saved games still fog not remove. This is fake.

If your talking about View Distance, It is 20,000 meters.

um the max meter is 18,000 not 20k

You will see clouds but not any fog, So No, You will not see fog even if you turn it up.
