Description

---

The so-called Japari Bus is the primary means of transportation featured in Kemono Friends that was used by the main characters. Game wise, despite its simple and somewhat goofy appearance, I tried to implement as many fancy features as I could while keeping it true to the anime. While referred to as a bus, the car is independent and can be detached from the trailer, as well as used with other trailers of your design.

The car itself is an EV. Due to how much space is occupied with microcontrollers, I couldn't fit many batteries into the main car, so its range might not be great, but the trailer has extra batteries in its floor which should increase it.

- Turn sensitivity curve

The X axis is the time the A/D keys are held, while the Y axis is the turn angle. The current curve allows for precision control at high speeds, while still allowing for fast turns if needed. To fine tune the handling, adjust the values by selecting the 2x3 microcontroller on the left side of the car.

- Automated turn modes & assistance
Depending on the turn direction, wheels on one side will turn slightly further to compensate for the difference in distance to the turning point of the vehicle. Additionally, depending on the type of trailer attached, front and rear wheels of the car will switch between turning in one or opposite directions. See the images above for visual explanation.

- Efficient use of charge thanks to an automated clutch
The clutch gradually engages when W/S key is held. Once released, the clutch disengages to not stress the motors.

- Career ready
Plenty of rope anchors around, as well as an inventory that includes 2 ropes, 1 electric cable, 1 fire extinguisher, 1 welding torch, flashlight, 2 first aid kits, night vision binoculars, radio, and a pistol with some ammo. Both vehicles also have a heater installed.

- Monitors
Both the car and the trailer have a map monitor. Additionally, the monitor inside the trailer has another mode where instead of the map, pictures of characters from the series will cycle. Above the car there's also a monitor that says "Welcome to Japari Park!"

- Interior lights with 4 levels of brightness

- Trailer stands that deploy & retract automatically

- Cable anchors under the car's hood and behind the trailer for recharging

Miscellaneous: horn, toggleable front and rear lights, trailer doors, roof hatch with a ladder, and a battery charge meter with "battery low" warning indicators.
