Description
Choose Your Reward is a mod that lets you decide which quest bonuses you will receive from the pool of stat rewards that is usually decided randomly. Just load up the mod of your chosen reward, and then talk to the Oracle's assistant.

Steps
  1. Already defeated Arachne ~ Spider Queen and collect Olive branch
  2. Initialise the mod in Custom Quest - Pick option
  3. Talk to the Oracle's assistant
  4. Restart game

ACCOMPLISHED HEROES
If you own Eternal Embers, and use the portal in Corrinth to gain double rewards, do not choose Poison as a reward option since you already own it.

You can change them in the player.chr file, since they are not binary but plain text, so do that at your own will, just remember it's safer to do so with a mod since it knows how to read/write to the file without possibly changing its integrity of structure like manually editing does.

Hello. First of all, thanks for the mods, especially for the mod with fixes.
Reading the comments to your other mod "Choose Your Reward - HC Dungeons", I found the following lines in the "Player.chr" file
Records\Quests\Rewards\JG14 - Lightning Resistance Reward NORMAL.dbr
Records\Quests\Rewards\JG14 - Lightning Resistance Reward EPIC.dbr
I want to ask, do these lines relate to this quest? And as far as I understand, you can't change them in the file because these are not just values, is that right?

I don't have a save file right now to check, but I believe you. I don't know why the game does that unfortunately. You still have the quest completed, and the reward on your character.

Yes, it was like you just said but it disappeared after restarting the game. Is that also not the case for you?

It removes from the log, only when you load the mod. When you complete it, you'll see it return to the log.. So I don't think there's any issues on that front, I tried it on all 3 difficulties.

A little bit sad that the quest disappears from quest log.

Rewards

Normal: +5% bonus to one resistance
Epic: +7% bonus to one resistance


If you use this mod, before you give in the quest you can choose which type of resistance reward you get, instead of it being random.

Its for all randon quest rewards and always have to talk with the same NPC? How many quests in total, are all listed in menu selection?
