Charjabug

Charjabug from the Pokemon series. Sprites are made by myself, sounds are from the Pokemon games and anime.
Charjabug is a rush-down type character with toolbox special moves that give him additional options in a number of different situations.

• Small and fast rushdown character that can rack up damage quickly.
  
• Lots of utility with special moves and strong attacks that have various uses.
  
• Great recovery with up special for vertical, and side special for horizontal, both can also be used to vary recovery timing.

• Very light weight, making them get KO'd at early percentages.
  
• Fairly linear approach options and a slow grab can make it hard to open the opponent up.
  
• Slow out of shield options, making it tough to punish some things.

Go into a charging animation that can be cancelled with jump or shield. Hitting the special button again during this will cancel it into Bug Bite, a triple hitting attack with light knockback. Charging this move all the way to completion, then hitting the special button again performs the move X-Scissor, a large, damaging, and high knockback attack perfect for finishing your opponent off.

Drive a kart into your opponents. This move can be jump cancelled after a short delay, leading to combos. You can cancel this move at any point into a spin-out attack that has high knockback by pressing the opposite direction.

Use String Shot to grab onto the ledge from a safe distance, if someone is ledge hogging, or if you hit the bottom of the stage, Charjabug will stick to and hang from the stage. If you can hit the opponent with the tip of the move, it has high knockback.

Harden, making yourself invulnerable for a brief period of time. If you are struck during this time, Charjabug automatically transitions to a follow-up attack that damages and launches foes all around themself.

Charjabug performs their iconic Raging Demon, grabbing the opponent. Charjabug then calls for help from an army of Grubbin before Vikavolt swoops in and launches the opponent with a devastating thunder attack.
