How to delete SAS4 account

This guide explains how to delete SAS4 account.

This guide will help you when:

• You want to restart the game from the beginning.
  
• You want to be free from the addiction of this game.
  
• You have a past of hacking and want to remove the hack flag given at that time.

By the way, if the hack flag is granted to you, the following inconveniences will occur.

• You are having trouble getting quick matches with other players.
  
• They're hackers even if you quick match other players.
  
• You can't get event rewards.
  
• You will not appear in the event leaderboards.
  
• You will not appear in the faction members table.
  
• The enemy faction is hackers.

Note: Once you delete your account, you cannot get your data back. You need to be careful if you really want to delete your account. This guide will not be held responsible for any inconvenience caused to you.

Account deletion request

Follow the steps below to request account deletion.


Click the cloud button on the character selection screen.


Click "Delete Account".


Enter your User ID and click "Confirm".


Click "Logout".


Close the app and delete the following directory.

• Windows - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\{{userid}}\678800\
  
• Mac OS - ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/userdata/{{userid}}/678800/

Wait up to 72 hours for your account to deleted.

Trouble shooting

Here are some troubleshooting.


If you try to start a new game and your account has not been deleted, you will see the "EXISTING ACCOUNT" screen. Wait further until the account is deleted.


If the account has been deleted but the directory has not been deleted, "Cannot Connect to our Online Services" screen will appear. Close the app and delete the following directory.

• Windows - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\{{userid}}\678800\
  
• Mac OS - ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/userdata/{{userid}}/678800/

Cancellation of account deletion request

It will take a few days for your account to be deleted.
Until then, you can cancel your request to delete your account.
Follow the steps below to cancel your account deletion request.


Click the cloud button on the character selection screen.


Click "Cancel Account Removal".


Confirm the message "Done, your account will no longer be removed", then click the "Close".
